Excellent location

Very tired, needs updating. Very hot, air conditioning units in the room but not maintained( dusty) not working. Food not hot, luke warm, limited choice.Bar area okay but not able to provide all drinks from the list eg Irish Coffee.

Location excellent for beach and tennis.

A few staff not very friendly. Air con needed. Heat was unbearable and uncomfortable. Room not serviced for our two night stay. Hotel dated and in need of maintenance.

Very handy location. We could leave our luggage there before checking in. And the sea view from our window. And the breakfast was good, a decent selection of things.

The room was not clean and you had to request for it to be cleaned when you were staying there. I found that very strange. The bed was not comfortable.

Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable, bathrooms/ showers good. Lovely sea views. Central location, overlooking bandstand and pier. 10-15 minutes' walk from good restaurants and train station. Communal areas pleasant. Staff friendly and helpful. Pleasant to sit on balcony of bar area with cool sea breeze & water lapping on the beach.

Bedrooms and bathrooms are very tired and need decoration and updating from top to bottom. Bar had limited stock of various drinks, which is a lost opportunity for the hotel as the barman knows his stuff. Limited opening hours for restaurant which does not encourage you to eat there.

Nothing apart from the staff tried their best to help with multiple issues

It was dirty and it felt like it was on the verge of closing down only breakfast in the morning and the bar opened in the evening. Was ripped off good and proper and parted with £368 for 2 nights in what I think is definitely the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in
