Room is clean, and aircon works, always a must in Cairns 😂. Great value for the price paid, location isn't great if you're on holiday but i wasn't so not an issue. On weekdays you can ring ahead to see if they can accommodate early check-in which is great. Would stay here again if in Cairns

TVs need upgrading, all channels not available. Room was ok

No reception open at check in time. Staff Not friendly when did arrive. No explanation on how to contact reception, only if you are a“late arrival” Just not welcoming and I won’t stay again

You really need to review what businesses you advertise, I went to check in 350 pm on 24/11/22 and the reception was closed with a sign stating to ring after hours number which was a pre voiced message to say to call back, I called back numerous times and unable to leave a message, went back at 450pm and reception still closed and I was unable to check in, sign stated staff shortages on the reception door, I had to make other arrangements so I did not stay at the Cairns Southside International hotel and request $93.18 be re deposited back into my credit card account. I was not the only person waiting to check in, 3 others were the same as I was, this business really needs to get their act together and have staff available the times that they advertise, 2-5 PM. I do hope you contact this business and make them accountable for their actions

dirty, cockroaches, stained carpet

Room wasnt cleaned properly...a unused tampon, used tomato sause packet, pastry crumbs on the floor. Had to hold the shower head to hav a shower,broken. Only 1 setting worked on the ceiling fan,full speed or nothing. Ants everywhere. Never saw a staff member the whole time.

Awful, drunks screeming and yelling at 4am Not happy will not recommend or stay again

Another good room. Happy the tap didnt leak and the shower head didnt spray everywhere
