Club Wyndham Long Wharf

My boyfriend and I were in Newport in May and were approached by someone from Wyndham saying that they were looking to get more five star reviews and offered us a free night in exchange for a five-star review. In the moment, we agreed, but we realized we had plans after. We put down a $50 deposit and were supposed to go to a timeshare presentation in order to get it back, then we'd stay the night. When I contacted Jay/Jason (the guy who approached us) by phone and text several times to cancel and get our deposit back since I cancelled right away, I never heard back. He also never told the club because they texted the day we were supposed to go asking where we were. Shady business and I wouldn't believe the five star reviews since I'm sure many are bought with a free stay,

Excellent place to stay, both pools and hot tubs are amazing. Very friendly staff and accommodating. We used the grill, they needed to be cleaned first and star came right out to do it. The surrounding area was beautiful, great location for walking and hiking.

Very hard bed. Loud furnace. Small kitchen/dining area. Refrigerator needs to be leveled.

Great and spacious room. Easy to check in and check out. Great pool. Great location.

I wish there was a restaurant in the hotel but there are plenty in walking distance. The first night, the pool wasn’t being heated and that was disappointing. But the next day it was.

Please don’t book with resort share ! They canceled our reservation with out even contacting us ! My family of 5 was staying there April 6-8th and March 21st I received an email from Vrbo that my reservation was canceled ! No explanation after multiple calls I did get in touch with them and get a refund but no compensation not a future free stay or help with a new reservation somewhere local! Just I’m sorry owner didn’t pay their HOA! Funny because if I canceled 2 weeks before I’d lose my deposit but they can cancel and not care that they left me and my family high and dry and now 2 weeks before rates are much higher. I’d never chance it again ! It ruined out family vacation. Honestly unless you have u have unlimited funds how can you chance it I looked January 4th and they canceled March 21sr for a April 6th stay that’s insane

Great place , gpod location. Lots to do nearby. So fun great beaches. Wonderful staff, bellman friendly, good housekeeping. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Good movie room and Starbucks kiosk!

Staff is super kind and sincere. Each member from all teams make guests feel welcome. Everything exceeded expectations. Visit to convalesce after surgery and staff assigned perfect room with walk-in shower, next to elevator. I enjoyed a balcony overlooking the pool which was appreciated so much. Amenities and activities are family oriented - pools, movies, arcade, arts and crafts, socials and other activities.
