Hotel Roma is NOT a 4* hotel, it is 3*. Very poor personal care kit, only a shower cap, a mini shoe sponge, really mini soaps and shampoos. No coffee maker, only a boiler with tea (in Italy!!!), no conditioner nor body lotion, bath gel or facial tissues Good breakfast, very good location and excellent attention in the reception.

The staff was not really friendly in general but the room was nice and the bed comfortable. I wouldn’t say this is a 4 star hotel, but it is a solid 3 star. Breakfast was good. Hotel is also very well located which was our main priority when choosing a hotel in Bologna.

Excellent customer service, Pietro was amazing at dinner recommendations and going above and beyond helping navigate the city. The room was spacious and spotless with a beautiful balcony and excellent air conditioning. Location could not be better. We had an amazing breakfast with plenty of choices. Had a wonderful 4 days at Hotel Roma. Would definitely be back!

Hotel Roma is the perfect hotel to stay at, especially if only in Bologna for a short stay of a few days. The convenient location cannot be beat - it's right in the center of all the main attractions making for an easy stay. The free breakfast every day was very much appreciated and there was a good variety of options. The staff were very helpful and accomodating. We felt very safe staying in this location in Bologna. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel - it's the best!

"Great stay at the heart of Bologna"

You’re literally at the heart of Bologna and close to everything! That said, bring earplugs if you can’t sleep with street noise. Hotel looks a little old but decent and comfortable. Lost a hotel key and had to pay €25, which I thought was quite outdated. Staff are friendly and help you with booking a taxi.
