Residence Inn by Marriott Albany East Greenbush/Tech Valley

We were traveling on a vacation and chose this hotel because of convenience but brand. The lobby and rooms looked brand new. The bed, linens, etc. were what is expected. The room was spotless. The staff were all friendly. And of course-free breakfast!

Staff was very pleasant. Confusion at checking in regarding booked cost and no notice of room request made prior to stay. All worked out eventually.

Iron had only high heat, nearly ruined clothes. Definitely needs to be replaced. No clock in room.

I liked the fireplace & grill

No air conditioning it was broke, there was bugs in the pull out beds & the towels.

Conveniently located near I-90, gas, and Panera. Quiet and clean 1 king studio (room 221). Arrived at 3 pm check-in and first floor room could not be accommodated. Great value with breakfast included, and room with full kitchen. Everything was in working order. Modern decor and a perfect home away from home.

that it is like a suite - lots of space - while my mom was in bed, I was able to be in the other space to watch tv. bed was extremely comfortable and soft sheets

Lovely upgrade. Spacious. Sad the side entrance is not working. I expect that is atemporary situation. Been here several times in last decade Consistently good stay.

My husband had recent surgery. Ahead of time, I asked for a quiet area/room. I'm sure staff meant well/and wouldn't know ahead of time about barking dogs and crying babies. Oh well. Also, what is with your charging for WiFi??? That's bizarre and shocking! Thanks.

Very disappointed we selected this hotel. The pool was freezing cold and you could not swim in it. When we spoke to the front desk they advised that management was aware of complaints from the week prior about the pool temperature so it’s disappointing that this had not been addressed. Our shower in our room was also not working and cold. We were staying with a group and showered in another room and could tell a clear difference. We will select another hotel next time. Breakfast was good and rooms are spacious but when there are other options in the area is go with.
