The Spinney

Location was good and easy to find. Only 15 mins from Legoland. The temperature of the room was good. Could park right outside and no issues getting into the room. Communication was good via email.

The water was warm so not ideal when wanting a cold glass of water to drink. There were no curtains so had to resort to putting the blankets over the windows so we didn’t get woken up. Tv didn’t work and neither did the remote. WiFi wasn’t the best.

Easy access and friendly staff and also easy to contact which is always a bonus these days so thank you for quick responses etc when needed

If you are searching for a bed to crash in, the Spinney could work for you. However, if you should like more than the bare minimum I would not suggest this place. Upon arrival we were instructed to call a number which no one replied to for over half another and when they finally did we got no apology but an impersonal digital message. It says there's a kitchen but to use the stove or the appliances you need to pay a meter which only runs for 8 minutes. We had to buy our own toilet paper and we could have done without the smell of weed in our room. Also, you couldn't get cold water from the tap, and the shower was Luke warm and only ran at one temperature. There also no where to sit and eat your food unless you eat on your bed.
