Commercial Hay Hotel

Beds and pillows were amazing. King size bed was great. Easy check in. Bathroom was tiny. Carpet ripped. TV didnt work in two single bed rooms. Furniture shabby.

This is a clean, modern and very well-appointed studio on acreage within easy access to the beautiful village of Mt Barker. Magpies, corellas, finches, ducks and rabbits were often seen, and we were visited by a kangaroo one evening, too. A lovely place to stay.

The room I stayed in was well worn and could use a refresh, however it was very clean

Very good value for the price

Had a terrible experience at this place. Stayed for one night. One guest played loud music and partied all night and then argued with others when asked to keep quiet, this went on until 2.30am. Motel management made no attempt to intervene and get the police involved. It got scary as it started to escalate to violence. Very uncomfortable night. Carpet was lifting which was not very safe, there was a hole in the wall left by the door handle as there was no stop. The fridge did not even have all it wrapping plastic removed. Bathroom was very small, would not a tall person. Notified management of the above issues and they said their maintenance team would look into it, however these appear to have been like this a long time so I would not be the first to complain about them. Would not recommend staying here at all.

The room is very clean the only thing is the fan in the bathroom was making loud noise when we turn on other than that its all good

Price is good. Quiet rooms Fan in bathroom was noisy though - needs fixing And we had no hot water

The Hotel was as expected. Check in and out instructions were clear and the room was clean and linen was fresh.

Good over night stay for price but your lucky if you get a hot or even warm shower

The one thing I asked for after reading feed back prior to booking was a room that had hot water, I ran the shower 20 minutes and had to endure a bloody cold shower! If you are going to rent rooms out you first must have not only clean sheets but a hot shower too!
