Quiet, view, comfortable bed, great bkfast, updated rooms, kind staff.

Lighting for reading in bed was not adequate. Pen lights attached to each side of bed would help.

"30th Anniversary Get Away"

We came here for our 30th Anniversary and it was perfect! We dined at Drakes restaurant. The food, sunset and ocean view were amazing. It was a 10/10 dining experience. We stayed in room 202 and it also had beautiful views of the ocean, pools and marsh land. Our room was cozy, comfortable, super clean and it had a wood burning fireplace that was an unexpected bonus. There were extras too! We got a bottle of complementary wine with a happy anniversary note and in the reception area there was cheese and wine tasting. The hotel was centrally located and provided quick and easy access to all the fun spots in Bodega Bay. Last, everyone at the hotel and restaurant were super kind and welcoming.

"A true coastal Northern California getaway!"

The perfect getaway to unplug from the craziness of the world for a weekend. From the giant, cozy beds with high thread count sheets and a real fireplace in our room to waking up at twilight to take in the colors of the early morning over the water. You can’t help but feel the stress of your life just slip away. We loved the breakfast and dinner at Drakes. The hot tub to watch the sunset from. The access to Doran beach (we took our electric scooters) was so convenient. We played a bit of bocce, and got massages. We only stayed two nights, but it felt much longer. Whenever we called the front desk for extra towels or a log for the fireplace, those items were delivered within minutes. I truly was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the Lodge at Bodega Bay was. I look forward to returning again!
