Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa All Inclusive

Such a fun and relaxing experience! I really enjoyed designing and painting my own mug. A big thank you to Liz for making the class so enjoyable and welcoming. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a creative and unique activity!

My husband and I came to this resort to relax, eat good food and enjoy the pool/beach. Our expectations of this resort were extremely surpassed due to the amazing staff, delicious food and amazing amenities. We want to shout out a couple of staff members that made our experience super memorable (we are likely missing some names, but wanted to include those who we recall/god cards for). Helios (Edwin, Jeovany, Javier, Arturo) Portofino (Jose), Family Selection (Sebastian, Jammy), Butlers (Leilanie, Jessica, Edmundo), guest relations (Alex). We will definitely be back and bringing family/friends with us next time. FYI- we opted in for the family selection option (a bit pricier, but totally worth it if you want access to additional pools/beach access/and restaurants - we will definitely do that again) Thank you all so much!!

Very good resort. Excellent service. Good food. The beach was very good too, however there were sea weeds in the water.

This resort exceeded our expectations. We upgraded to a family select ocean front walk out pool room and the staff were amazing! Leo, Joel, Jose, Alfredo, and Alonso were all friendly, engaging, attentive and made our time in the room perfect! We also loved the resort grounds- beautiful jungle with a mix of birds and animals. The coatis, agoutis, and iguanas should be paid well 😂. The restaurants were also high quality, especially the salad bars. Our favorite was Bamboo but enjoyed all that we tried. Breakfast at the nest was excellent as were the shows we were able to attend. We have travelled to many resorts and highly recommend.

We were served at the beach by Diego and crew. Diego was very friendly and attentive, we got to know each other, and he made our vacation more enjoyable!

This hotel has a beautiful beach, lovely lobby area, good rooms, great bathrooms and very pleasant staff. They really do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. Food is good. Entertainment is family oriented. A la carte restaurants are good but not great. You can't swim off the beach as the sea is too rough. You also cannot snorkel. If you don't have a family room you need to bring your own travel kettle if you want tea. Cleanliness is excellent. Four different heron species found the pools near the dining rooms marvellous. I've been to four other hotels in the area. The Bahia Principe is best for entertainment and the Kian' San for buffet dining. Xcaret is best for off the beach snorkelling and proximity to theme parks, and monkeys. Palladium has the best rooms, bathrooms, hotel lobbies and beach.

Thought the restaurants could do with more ambiance more pictures on walls or cultural artifacts etc of the region they were copying Portofino and Mexican restaurants especially

An enjoyable experience with lovely customer service. Beautiful property and would definitely visit again but come better prepared for the negative points I'm sharing. Main negative thing about the Kanteanah resort is the guest room I stayed in (2 different rooms because we moved from a 2 double bed room to a king size bed room). Bathrooms need upgrading and deep, deep cleaning. Pictures of bathroom shared here to show the mold in tub/shower, rusty mirror and overall unsanitary bathroom. Beds had a mildew, musty smell...like sheets were not adequately clean and had an awful odor of sweat and BO. I could not sleep comfortably in the room the entire trip because of the musty, bad odor from the bed/sheets. Thank God for fresh air beach naps! I had a travel size lysol spray and sprayed it all over my sheets/bed but still could not get the smell to go away. Highly recommend bringing fabric lysol spray to spray your bed/sheets and entire room with lysol. Bring clorox wipes and ant/bug spray too. Lots of large ants and bugs on the balcony and all around. Also bring benadryl in case you are bitten because the bites itch like crazy and items like benadryl, Tylenol, motrin are absurdly expensive (dental floss is $18 in the lobby store!). Food was fresh with good service at the buffets. Restaurant reservations were tough to get, but worth the wait to set the reservation if you want to have a nice family dinner outing without the hustle of the buffet scene. Swimming pool "Carlos" with "aqua gymnasio" was the best fun each afternoon.
