Victoria Cloisters Apartments

Well stocked roomy apartment. Lovely and quiet and exceptionally comfy beds.

No lift so stairs have us a good work out.

Location was fantastic. So close to the city centre. Having on-site parking included (although the carpark was very compact and bijoux) saved a fortune on car parking fees! Cleanliness of the rooms was top notch. House keepers obviously have pride in their work! Being an apartment meant that we had the ability to cook own food rather than eat out every meal (which is very expensive) also being able to chill out and watch tv and have a bit of space. Don’t feel like on top of one another. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend to friends and family who wanted somewhere central to stay in York.

There may have been the odd thing, like the pedal on the pedal bin didn’t work or that the fridge was very noisy (so I had to close the kitchen door at night) but they are super trivial!!

Very convenient for all York's amenities. Clean comfortable well equipped and very secure.

The location was excellent, a 10 minute walk from the train station and just far enough outside central York to be quiet at night.

The property was a little tired and could do with a little tlc but was adequate for a weekend and the price

Is was not clear on booking that the apartment was on the third floor, with no lift. Very small sitting room.

Bathroom was a bit dated and taps driped but overall good.
