Personnel charmant, endroit relaxant dans la nature, environnement très beau.

Hard to base a review of a resort on a one night stand, but when you have an enjoyable experience you become very enthusiastic about the whole thing.

Wish we'd had more time there to enjoy the lovely resort grounds and more of the facilities. Room was large and cabin-like in that there was a back deck and screen door out onto it (as well as a solid door, of course). It rained the day and night there, and we left the back door open to hear the lovely rain all night ~ The only surprise to us was having no tv in the room - fine with the many outdoor activities but on rainy days and nights we would've liked to have had one~

Such a beautiful setting. It truly feels like we stepped back in time, in a good way. It was such a relaxed stay. The room we stayed in had a lake view and was really spectacular. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We would love to make a trip back. Basin Harbor is amazing.

It is in a very beautiful area on Lake Champlain with walking trails to a spectacular lookout. This place has it all.

Resort is above amazing. Elegant grounds, ton of activities, and definitely would plan a wedding here! Just beautiful!

No elevator, had to carry luggage over narrow staircase, no TV in the room, Red Mill Restaurant in resort a catastrophy, completely overwhelmed, unfriendly staff, received text for express checkout 2 hours after I had already checked out

Beautiful setting in the lake

The property is very, very old and dated. The room is small, old and cramped. There has been no renovation in 40 years. The food was awful. The staff was surly and unhelpful. The restaurant service was terrible. It’s a place that was probably great 30 years ago but not anymore.

My husband and I were married here in June 2024 and it was truly the best weekend of our lives! Basin Harbor is a unique sliver of nostalgia and 'summer camp' that I've never seen replicated better. The family nature of the resort, the plethora of activities, and the amazing and selfless staff together deliver an experience for everyone. Our wedding was executed flawlessly with the help of Anne and Lauren. No stone was left unturned as they went out of their way to deliver everything we wanted and more! Saying goodbye on the Sunday after the wedding was the hardest thing as we didn't want the magic to end. Whether you are looking at a vacation, family reunion, or a wedding, you cant go wrong with Basin Harbor.
