Melbourne Kew Central Apartment Hotel

Location

The room was dirty and not cleaned at all. There was dirt and hair everywhere with spiders and cobwebs too. Cutlery and utensils was used and soiled. Very unhappy and had paid up quite a fair charge for such a place. It was such a waste of money. We had to clean everything ourselves before we could use it and have left the place in a better condition than we got. Their policy says there is a penalty if leave the room untidy while checking out but it should go both ways. If the room is not clean while checking in they should refund the money to the guests. We have stayed at hotel apartments/motels before which were cheaper but still way cleaner and better than this one.

Great location

Unclean, door handle nearly falling off. Check in process felt unprofessional. Needs to be renovated/updated. Not value for money at all

The rooms are large and comfortable with a place for dining, a couch for TV and a comfortable large bed. Kitchen is basic but well enough equipped to reheat or prepare simple meals. It was surprisingly quiet and, with off-street parking, a very nice place to stay. The Kew shops are great, it is near to two supermarkets, many cafes, a great Salvos Op Shop and a couple of pubs; tram access to the city is 100m away.

I've stayed here before a number of years ago and it is showing its age a little. Coffee cups are too small and there were no wine glasses. Small issues that had a small overall impact on our stay.

Housekeeping Rubbish found under table in front of couch. Room in need of a good dusting. Shower in bath, falls risk for the older clients.

Great room, great bed, great kitchen facilities. Had everything I needed. Was really happy for what I paid.

Nothing to clean dishes with other than liquid packet (no cloth or scrubber). Was excited to have a bath but the plug didn't fit.
