"A Unique Experience"

The Ship hotel is a unique experience. The stewards of the ship have managed quite well to maintain the feel of staying in a ship, even though it's berthed on land! A tour of the ship is a must!

There was no housekeeping during our stay, probably because of our stay coinciding with the Idul Fitri holiday weekend.

I love the uniqueness of this hotel - a ship built more than a century ago, a few years after the infamous Titanic. I love the warmth and smiles of the staff, the hospitality of the hotel owner Mr Eric Saw, the quiet retreat from city life, the ship tour, the Rijsttafel dinner, and even just looking out into the sea from our room's spacious balcony. My teens had a good time too! They enjoyed the pool, gym, and exploring the ship. If we had more time, we would have done the mudflat eco walk and gotten some massage. Thanks Doulos Phos for giving me, my parents and children such a memorable experience. Will visit again one day.
