Perfect location. Great clean room, comfy bed!

Just the info. to access the room. A wee bit tricky for us as we didn't have access to our emails & access info. to hand, upon arrival! The folk we met were apologetic and all was well!

The location was nice, that's all I can say really..

Booked last minute for a work trip and check-in time online was before 11pm. I rung ahead to say I'd be arriving at 10-10.15pm which was not a problem. Arrived at 10.05pm to find nobody was in and front door locked. There was a phone number to call which took 5 attempts to get through, was then given terrible instructions on how to get in and once in the building had to be told by another guest on how to get my room key. Room was way to expensive for the quality. It was basically a hostel and not worth £90+ No facility to eat on-site (no breakfast) and overall I've stayed in many better hotels for the price.

"Great Location, great heritage building, acceptable but not the former hotel is once was."

Location, it's my home town. Room , bed and bathroom were acceptable. Staff, who I met briefly very helpful and friendly.

I was not aware that it was a Air B&B style entry, with coded key box in the locked lobby. I emailed and confirmed late arrival, at no point was I told there would not be anyone available, night porter and I would need to call a number to obtain my room number and the code to open the key safe.... it took nearly an house to get an answer and eventually get in. No water in the room, no service in the hotel ...

Nothing

The staff couldn't find my reservation and the person the contacted was unhelpful and it sevral hors to get checked in after arrival even though I had confirmation of my booking on my phone. Dreadful experience.

"Rubbish hotel. Do not get ripped off"

Location is the only thing

No receptionist available. No hot water to have a shower a massive waist of money. Had to go and stay at a friend's house as it was a complete shambles of a hotel. Will be looking at getting a full refund.

Not a fully functional hotel and incompetent staff. Parking was very limited. The whole place was in a state of disrepair.
