The Windsor Hotel

No towels, dirty, not sound proof, very old/ugly settings, staff not very helpful/welcoming (ended up sleeping without wifi or towels in the room, didn’t bother asking as I was only staying 1 night). Toilets were dirty

The room was fine for a short stay and for what you pay. Staff were very helpful both on arrival and leaving. Although walls are very thin so as a light sleeper I could hear everyone coming and going! Other than that no complaints

There’s a few small things this hotel could do to bring it back up to 4star status, having one of the lifts out of order doesn’t help, also the indoor pool and hottub need to be back up and running. Some sound proofing in the rooms would be nice, mine was near the (working) lift which I could hear very clearly everytime it was used. (Take earplugs!) The WiFi is a bit patchy too, the TV in my room was temperamental and the water pressure is an issue - takes ages to run a bath! But the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was a good size and clean, the bed was comfortable and overall I feel I got great value for money.

Check in was a mess. Staff argued about rooms available, and my room wasn’t available until 2 hours after the check in was supposed to start. Elevator was constantly broken, had to go up to the 4th floor via stairs that wound past construction work. WiFi was constantly out, pool and sauna were not open. Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Shower had no door, so bathroom floor was constantly wet. Breakfast consisted of horrible eggs, raw bacon, decent sausage, and beans. Toast and cheap packaged pastries, cereals were also available.

Most stuff weren't working. Room key card always faulty. Leaking roof, no wi-fi on second day. Only one of the lifts (super slow) worked. Otherwise, location was awesome.

While the staff were excellent and the AC worked well, everything else made me sad I chose this property, which is one of the worst "hotels" I've stayed in. The staff need taxes paid in cash, but don't have change. The property looks nice when you enter, but doesn't hold true once you get into the elevator and your room. The place was very dirty and dated and they claim they have free onsite parking (the only reason I chose this place) but you are left to park in the street. The water pressure was terrible and sometimes cut out and couldn't provide water at all and there were power outages while there. The lift was down most of the time and they were doing construction, even while trying to sleep, so my bed was shaking from their drilling while trying to sleep. The bed was somewhat comfortable, but the pillows were lumpy and the lighting in the room was terrible. This is the 2nd worst "hotel" of thousands I've stayed in. Save your money and sleep literally anywhere else, I wish I did! This place was not worth the money.

Construction work all week on level 3, half 8 every morning loud noise from builiding, no mention of this ongong when checking in, hotel porters very inconsiderate of guest, very loud and i heard a few arguments - i would stay again as very cheap and great location, hopefully next time the Construction if complete

No hot water nor pressure on cold water throughout my stay, Breakfast was terrible..!! This Hotel is not 4 Star I can recommend 2 Star…
