City River Hotel

Lovely hotel with wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Great position on the river with a short walk to Pub Street etc. but far enough away from the noise and bustle. Great roof top pool with fabulous city views. Recommended

Awesome little hotel. Staff are all very, very sweet and welcoming. We loved the size and cleanliness of our room and the rooftop pool.

Hotel in a good location. Lovely room. Reception staff very nice. However, could do better. We had to ask for our hotel room floor to be cleaned as very dirty. Also the toilet was never cleaned as it had dark water marks down the toilet. The roof top pool is very dirty and I kept asking if the floor could be cleaned. Each time I asked they made a attempt but it needs moping every morning as when you walked around your feet were black, which ended up in the pool which was making the pool very dirty and mouldy. Every time we had breakfast we were ill. The only thing same thing we had was water and tea, so I think the water may be contaminated. I think the Management needs to step up to support the staff and look at the facilities to make this a better place to stay.

The service at this hotel is AMAZING. Especially the manager, Laekaena, I believe her name is. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay and visit to Siem Reap was as comfortable as possible. She was able to grant us early check-in and she checked on a later check-out time for us without us asking. The entire staff greets you and asks how you are and how they can help. They have excellent recommendations- loved the cafe they recommended 2 doors down, Moloppor Cafe. The staff offered to fix the elastic in my pants when I asked them for a recommendation where I could take them in town. Just superb service! The hotel location is very convenient to the main area and markets of Siem Reap and I highly recommend this location if you want a quiet area to wake up to and go to sleep to. It is a lovely area just across the river and has a great view of the city from the roof. The breakfast is good quality and variety of food- fusion of Khmer, western, Thai, and Chinese, local fruits. Nice firm mattress, plenty of pillows, clean sheets and blankets. Comfortable A/C. The hotel decor is a little dated, but beautiful wood. The only thing I would change is the bathrooms. They really need to upgrade, but it was nice to have the shower in the bathtub and not just the small lip on the floor like in some hotels.

Hi, we received excellent service from friendly staff at this hotel in downtown central. Breakfast is also good and differs every day. Rooms are also very clean and there is happy hour on cocktails every day from 3pm-8pm on the pool terras. Within 5 minutes walk of the Night Market and Pub Street. All in all, we were very satisfied. Thank you City River Hotel from happy and very satisfied customers from SURINAME South America. Love Siem Reap, we will be back ;-)

Service was amazing. Exceptional. The shower though kept going from hot to cold to hot to cold. Internet was a bit spotty. But again service was exceptional.

The air con in room was extremely noisy and then when fixed dripped waters the floor
