"Lovely stay in Benidorm old town"

10.0

The staff in the hotel are absolutely fantastic. They looked after our group from the minute we walked through the door to the minute I left to come home. The hotel is clean, the rooms are nice, drinks very reasonably priced for a hotel. Food was good with loads of options. I had a corner room which has a restricted balcony and it seemed to mean I had a gift room as a result and little hotel themed gifts were left every day which ranged from free drink vouchers, sun hat and sunglasses and tote bag. Very thoughtful touch!

"Great family holiday again"

10.0

After coming here last year with our young boy we decided to come again as we knew what to expect. Will be making the same choice next year now after another great trip! Staff all great, friendly and welcoming, special mention to the staff on reception who were superb everytime we went up! This hotel is spotless - the staff all work hard in the mornings to get the place so clean and tidy and they certainly take pride in their work. The standards are maintained throughout the hotel and the rooms are given the same treatment. The pool was a lot warmer than last time, although we came nearly 3 weeks later this year, which maybe gave them chance to warm up abit, it defiantly made the difference! There’s a splash pad, a small pool with 2 small slides (still cooler in the mornings) and the main pool with a jacuzzi on the side. The rooms are a decent size, nice balcony and comfy beds. The TV is good, especially having YouTube makes a difference. The bathroom is big, the shower is amazing, probably the best if had in a hotel. The only downfall is the shower tray lets the water over the top and seems to flood the bathroom, we had to keep a towel on the floor as we were worried it was going to flood. The food was nice too, if you’re a fussy eater you’ll still find something to eat, we mainly did breakfast and dinner, but did lunch a couple of times and the food was pretty similar. At lunch/dinner there was always rice, chips and a paella of some sort. Salads bread, cold meats, cheeses and then deserts. You’ll always find something to eat. The bar was abit hectic, always seemed to be a big que, pint of san Miguel was around €4, as was the wine and sangria. They also had Stella on draft and bottles of ciders and beers. There’s 3 small shops local to the hotel, and a supermarket no more than 5 minutes away. I found the shop directly opposite to be a lot dearer than the 2 smaller shops going down the hill on the right . The supermarket up the hill was good to get bulk water and more niche things. My only negative of this hotel are the lifts, they take an age to come, and when they do arrive they normally had people already in it, especially annoying as there are lifts that aren’t moving when you’ve pressed the button that must be empty. This was to the annoyance of nearly everyone we spoke to. Also seen reviews about it being on a hill, honestly, it’s not a hill at all, a slight incline maybe but certainly not a hill! We’re already looking at booking for next year, and we had lots of conversations with other repeat customers who had been coming time and time again, so clearly this place is doing something right!

"Restaurant staff"

2.0

Dont usually write a review till I get home, but so disappointed with staff in restaurant 4 of us in party including 2 grandkids. Explained at the beginning 1 of the children as autism and he likes to sit near the window as it calms him. Told male restaurant manager who was fine with this but every time we come in it’s the same thing we are told can’t sit there it’s for 5 or 6 every time we explain we spoke to manager and it’s ok, they continue to say we can’t and we tell them another 3 times before they snatch the extra placing off the table, I don’t think they realise this as put a real dampener on the whole experience of the hotel and sets you up to start the day off badly, I know what pressure they are under as I work in a hotel in Manchester uk thanks we are in room 412 at the moment

"Avoid if Disabled"

4.0

Having been advised to book this hotel via a travel agent as it is disabled friendly. On arrival, we were told they had booked us into a better grade room from the one booked. I stipulated at booking we needed a walk-in shower which the hotel could provide owing to our disabilities. When we were booking in all the staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, even storing our bags behind their desk as our room wasn’t quite ready. This we couldn’t fault. We were told that there was a much bigger room with 2 separate beds. Umm, yeh 2, small double beds pushed together to make one 8-foot-wide bed, not very helpful for a wheelchair user. There was a walk-in shower which was very good but barely enough room in the actual room itself. We could not get the wheelchair along the side of the bed, so am at a loss as to why the room was classed as a disabled friendly room as apart from the walk-in shower it was not disabled accessible. Anyways we were able to manage in some sort. Being on the first floor and in a wheelchair, we needed to use the lifts. At Breakfast and evening dinner it was pretty much impossible to get a lift, when they did stop on our floor, they were often full or not enough room for a wheelchair. The lifts would give priority to the higher floors. Often spent over 10 minutes before we were able to get a space in the lift. The second lift further along the landing was barely big enough to get in and out of safely, really not wheelchair friendly at all. So, we headed off for our first dinner at the restaurant, being a Sunday, we didn’t know what to expect. Let’s just say their attempt at making a British roast was a massive failure. Yorkshire puddings that were more like scones without the fruit! YUK!! Poor meat choice it was roast beef but as I am master butcher, I could see the joint used was poor end of the beef. No mashed potatoes just what seemed to be deep fried potatoes for roasts. Mealtimes were pretty much set up for the Mediterranean diet, with very poor choice of food that brits traditionally eat, unless you like Pizza which was served every night. Breakfasts were the same, English Bacon being cooked but never enough at any one time, there was never enough chefs working on the hot plates to keep the bacon and other cooked items topped up. Then one morning suddenly out of the kitchen are strolls the biggest cockroach I have ever seen. It was at least 4 inches long scurrying around everyone’s feet, before a waiter, smiled and we heard it crunch under his feet. He then stood still so people could not see him cleaning up after his kill. When arriving at the restaurant for any meal if there was a Spanish person in front the staff would chat to them for a good few minutes holding up the rest of the queue. The only interaction we had was a morning as we handed over our room card. And the same at dinner only a hello. Very unwelcoming, table staff tended to serve the Spanish before other guests and on one occasion we had finished our meals before we were even served despite asking several staff for drinks. There was absolutely no access to the pool are for a wheelchair user, and if you could manage down the stairs there was no walk in are to the pool that you find in other hotels, thus making this area out of bounds for disabled guests who have mobility issues.

"Great child friendly holiday!"

10.0

We are just back from a great family holiday at this hotel. Soo much for kids to do. Swimming pool, mini golf, trampolines, basket ball, football cage, games room and kids club. The kids will not be bored. Every member of staff are all so friendly, always smiling. The staff work hard continuously cleaning up in dining hall, clearing glasses at the bar, maids clean the room every day with fresh towels every day. The pool area was always clean too. The room we had had a few scuff marks on the walls but that aside the room was always clean. We stayed half board while here. Breakfast is very good. Plenty of options from cooked food to pastries. My childs favourite was definitely the mini waffles. Pancakes made to order and fresh omlettes. Although we had dinner with our board we only ate 3 times at dinner time. Plenty of options at dinner and it's different every night. But we would be fussy eaters and preferred going out for dinner and picking what we'd like ourselves. The vegetarian chilli, paella and chicken curry were what I had at the hotel and all very nice. The snack truck is very good for lunch- toasties, burgers, hot dogs, chips. This was included in all inclusive. Drinks weren't included in our board but you can get drinks and add them to your room with 10% discount if paid at the end. We had a few drinks each day and my child had lunch from the snack bar every day and the bill at the end was very reasonable. Short walk into the old town from the hotel. We would recommend rays chippy in old town for fish and chips - best fish I've had from a chippy. It is sit in and takeaway. Grill house for steak was good too - American diner theme. We also had topo gigio for pizza and pasta, again lovely. However service was slightly lacking that night we were there as there was a table of 15 that seemed to be more of a priority. Lastly we had a Chinese at Pato Laqueado. All freshly made dishes and plenty to choose from. We had a starter, 2 mains and and 2 drinks. We couldn't get over how cheap it was! All in all fabulous hotel and really ideal for families with children!

"Fabulous holiday"

10.0

Fabulous holiday. 3rd time visiting this hotel. Convenient location for both the Old and New Town. Slight slope towards the hotel not a problem for us. There is an army of cleaners who work all day to make sure that both the rooms and communal areas are emaculate. Rooms very comfortable with small fridge and hairdryer. Stay was all inclusive and we were happy with what we got. We had, unbranded alcohol, standard pint of larger is San Megel. (You can upgrade to gold all inclusive for I think €8 a day and have branded stuff) Breakfast 8 - 10.30. Lunch 1 - 3. Dinner 7 - 9.30. Good choice of fresh food to choose from. Spicy stuff on the mild side, but they are catering for all tastes. Make your own ice cream machine available for children and chocolate fountain one night. Snacks available throughout the day include hotdogs, burgers, fries and toasties. Main pool busy but always managed to get a sunbed. Children have there own pool; trampolines, carting, football enclosure and games room ( pool table, ping-pong and some arcade games). Used the small indoor spa pool on a few days, it was always quite and had a jacuzzi ( you do need a swim cap but can get 1 for €3 if you need). Entertainment in the evening ok, children had a great time. We often went out for a walk on the sea front. BIG SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE STAFF🏆. They are friendly and helpful. They made 1 little girls 4th birthday extra special by singing Happy Birthday to her during dinner. They are like a well oiled machine working together to make our holidays super special. Can't wait to go back.

"lovely hotel catering for vegetarians (with advance booking, though much of the buffet suitable anyway)"

8.0

The hotel was lovely and the superior double spacious with good size balcony Food was generally very good, although more information needed on booking/arrival as I only saw the vegetarian food menu, which you can order in advance, at the end of my stay. Just a few yards down from the hotel is Regalos Alba (the scottish shop) which was very handy for most of the little things you may have forgotten, and snacks of course. Best prices in the area and owner speaks English and Spanish

"Fantastic hotel and Wonderful staff"

10.0

What can I say. This hotel is amazing. All staff work incredibly hard to ensure all guests have a fantastic time and are always friendly and happy :). We even saw two members of staff dancing on the dance floor which was entertainment in itself and lovely to see. The food is lovely. Our children have multiple allergies and staff did their best and went out of their way to cater for them , which can be difficult even for us at home. There is entertainment on throughout the day and in the night with two acts at night and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. No need to venture out even though everything is so close including the beach, shops, the old and new town and mundomar which was fantastic to visit. we bought VIP tickets which was well worth it. my children absolutely loved kids club and couldn't wait to visit and I felt very comfortable and happy in the knowledge I could check whenever I wanted and that they were safe. We all enjoyed the day time and evening entertainment. The pool choices are fantastic and the hotel is clean. Weather was gorgeous. The bus doesn't drop you outside the hotel but this is not an issue and is a very easy short walk to the hotel. We will definitely be back. Thankyou

"Great family hotel with good location"

8.0

Brilliant Hotel for families! we stayed here in may / 2025 2 adults ( one being my 19yr old daughter ) 2 kids . 12 & 16 yrs old . first night wasn't the best as our family room had two large double beds and one of my kids has additional needs and can't share , so we had a very disturbed night plus our flights had been delayed ! we did put in requests for singles through jet 2 but they were fully booked at the time so couldn't meet our requirements then , But staff assured us they would help sort something out in the morning . The next day they did , they swapped our room for one with 2 single beds and a sofa bed . i shared with my youngest and the others had two single beds to themselves . we made it work as surprisingly the single beds are pretty wide . the air con in the room was a god send as it was pretty hot out . play area for kids with bouncy castles , mini golf and football area etc . my kids loved that area . we had a pool view and the room was pretty spacious with a lovely balcony . bathroom was lovely too and everything was cleaned daily with towel changes . we were second floor so could hear entertainment at night which wasn't too bad as it stopped around 11.30pm . we didn't go as i'm not much of a drinker and my son can't handle the noise etc . But it's great for people who like abit of entertainment at night . food was good , we went half board as i like to eat out locally . breakfast was ok but lunch and dinner was much better . Cooked food options like pizza , fries etc then some nights meat and veg , rice , pasta . Lots of cheese , breads and fruits plus an ice cream machine . lots of choice .The pool gets very busy so we opted for the jacuzzi and the kids went in the kids pool most days . Be careful though when using the slides as my youngest slipped and grazed his foot badly . But the life guard was on hand to do first aid . all in all a couple of minor issues but the hotel resolved them as quick as possible . lots of little supermarkets around the corner plus only a ten mins walk into the town and over to levante beach . brilliant spot . This place is A good hotel i will definitely recommend and be visiting again . Things to be aware of . family rooms are two large double beds . Half board . is two meals a day . any two . we usually had lunch and dinner . you pay for drinks separately . you can swap the meals around asking as you stick to two . air con switches off everytime you open your balcony doors 🙄 but you get the hang of it .
