Hotel RH Princesa

Excellent hotel, lovely helpful staff - pool opens at 10am which stopped towels on sunbeds at 6am! Buffet selection was really good- lots of choice. Room cleaning was really excellent. Room very comfortable- walk in shower- kettle and fridge in room. Hotel well placed to access Old Town and beach via a little walk , very central to access Levante beach. Close to the park , and short walk to tram station. Pool area very nice- and childrens area with slide and water play area. Nice sweetie trolley at restaurant exit- had a couple of marshmallows on leaving ! Easy to get to Altea, Albir, villjoyosa and Alicante by bus or tram.

Our 5th visit to this fantastic hotel X going back again 9th November for Fiesta . The hotel is wonderful from reception to staff; rooms facilities and food. You will not be disappointed with anything in this hotel highly recommend it

Hi I have stayed in this hotel at least 3 times and highly recommend this hotel to anyone the place is spotless and I mean u actually smells soo good when u walk in the door and everyone from reception to bar staff restaurant staff cleaners r sooo friendly and helpful the food is excellent too I love breakfast the omelettes r beautiful Rooms r a good size and it’s a great location.But I am going this time with mates who is already booked into the hotel was wondering could they get a room with a extra bed as I am only coming for 4 nights and they r there for 10 nights half board thanks

Amazing hotel and staff, can’t do enough for you, and fantastic with children couldn’t fault it. From room service, bar service, entertainment, and mini kids club.

Booked a deluxe room as we wanted a super king bed room was okay but not worth almost £300. We both agreed that the room smelled Smokey or stale. We were offered an alternative room but as we had unpacked we remained. Breakfast was choice of either continental or cooked so no cereal fruit or pastry with your cooked. Nit good enough for almost £300 a night and a bit mean . You could order additional items such as cereal at full menu price £6 or £7 Service at breakfast was slow and with no starters we waited a long time for cooked food with nothing to eat. No refills of tea or additional toast offered.

What a beautiful hotel , the staff are very good and approachable. Everyone works so hard everyday. I had a single room and it was amazing, decor was nice. Bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing . Restaurant food catered for everyone, I have a very sweet tooth so this suited me fine. The pool area was always busy . 10 minutes walk to the beautiful Levante beach €12 for one sun bed and umbrella . I enjoyed walking around the shops and there were plenty of bars and restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday and felt safe being on my own.

Hi I stayed here at the end of June what a lovely hotel spotlessly clean all the time the food was fantastic with loads of choice the staff were always pleasant and helpful especially the guy who welcomes you in to the eating area there wasn't a sunbed rush like other hotels and they removed towels after 45 mins of no one being there 😊 it was a five to ten minute walk to the beach which is beautiful if you need a shop there is a Scottish guy just down from the hotel where his prices are cheaper than the one directly opposite the rooms were lovely and modern and cleaned every day there is a small fridge to keep milk water in etc the tv had the main English channels all in all would definitely recommend this hotel to any one going to benidorm

2nd time booking with this hotel through Jet2 and never had any problems. Great location with friendly and helpful staff throughout.Checking in was swift with €10 deposit for the safe (why others charge i will never understand). Rooms are adequate and are cleaned daily and much appreciated is daily clean towels, thanks Princesa. Restaraunt is a good size and caters for all, i am a fussy eater and always found something to eat.Staff will happily cook bacon to your preference in morning.Only negative i found is that sometimes food items are not labelled but this was not a regular occurrence.Snack van outside at pool area is very handy if you just want to lay and melt in the sun without heading to dining room for lunch.Pool is big enough for beginning of June, peak times it may get busy but note that under 13's are not allowed in the small jacuzzi directly next to it, theres a kids area behind the main hotel with small slides and a wading area for toddlers, pretty much covered all bases. One thing i did notice this year was the queues in the morning for sun loungers, this wasn't a thing last year, guests putting towels down over a number of loungers then disappearing, thats annoying for folk that want to actually lounge there and then. If you fancy eating out there is only a 5 minute walk to restaraunts and a further 10 minutes gets you to the beach. Bar at night can get a tad busy with queues but staff will help as fast as they can, Martin in particular has a naughty side as one of our party asked for a small beer and he literally sent "a small" beer to our table 🤣, cheers Martin. All inclusive can be upgraded, didn't know that as we paid for all inclusive but there is another level that gets you a number of different drinks, not worth it imo as it is expensive. The bands you get are annoying as they do catch the skin while showering and sleeping, even though you wear these the staff still ask for your room card when ordering anything or check in at restaraunt, dont see point in them really. Overall, great hotel and we will be back.

Yes, three grumbles (thus 4 stars instead of 5). Lets deal with them first. 1) Not for the first time, or even second time, the hotel ignoring e-mails. Very important issue, but no reply (ie, yes, we will help OR sorry, we can not help OR get stuffed OR anything). Absolutely nothing. So we finished up missing out on the transfers that were part of the package. That was a serious extra expense for us, although the lack of reply was as annoying as the money. Happy to download e-mail if disputed. 2) Checking in. All very smooth as usual, were told that our room was not quite ready, it was no problem for us. However a lady told us we could swap to another room that was ready. My last words to her were 'is it a similar kind of room ?', she replied 'yes!'. So we went up to the room, and it was not remotely similar. We booked and paid for a family room, a larger room with 2 big beds, but finished with a standard room. Booking confirmation and room details available for download, if disputed. 3) Final point, a much smaller issue. We are competitive couple, and use the games room a lot. For 18 months or more, there is always something wrong with the basket ball machine. Usually the scoring only works with 1 player, sometimes the machine takes money and does not work. More often than not, the mechanical part of the basket, malfunctions. PLEASE REPAIR IT PROPERLY. Also Air Hockey Table, always has problems. Because the air jets do not always work properly, the puck has dead areas on the table. Because of untreated wear, the puck flies off of the table quite a lot. HAVING DEALT WITH 2 (IF NOT 3), OF OUR GRIEVANCES, NOW ONTO THE REVIEW OF THE HOTEL. Availability in early June of the better Benidorm hotels was very sparse. So over 14 days we stayed at the different hotels. This was the second, and lasted 7 days. We have stayed many times before, and were very satisfied with the deal that we secured on Hotel Website. Hotel is handily situated on Calle Mirador in the Centro Zone. 10 Minutes Walk to the Old Town, about 12 minutes to nearest beach (Lavante), and about 5 minutes walk to the South American Bars (and Dutch Bar) in Calle Esperanto. Nearest bus stops are about 5 minutes walk. The Strip (English Clubs and Bars), are about a 8 euro taxi ride away. Our room was of a decent standard. Included, safe, flat screen tv, small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, decent balcony and functional bathroom. For us, the restaurant is a very serious plus. Food standards and variety compare very favorably with other hotels. It is definitely worth taking this into account, with the happy knowledge that you will not have to spend good money eating out because you are unhappy with menu during some meals. Stag and hen parties are not particularly welcome. This is another plus, as we come to the hotel to relax. A medium size outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, perfect in the summer months. There is a very impressive children's area, with many novelty features and a pool with 2 water slides. A life guard also in attendance. The hotel has a very impressive Spa and Wellness area, which is especially welcome during the winter months.

We stayed here at part of a 7 night stay, with a friend, having had such an enjoyable experience of the RH Victoria (located across the road from the RH Princesa) in June 2024. Everything about this hotel was very good, from the friendliness and efficiency of all the hotel team, to the food and the quality of the room. We were assigned room 1316, a rather unique room with a semi enclosed balcony, which still offered some very nice views over to Poniente beach. We were allocated some additional treats having been assigned this non-conventional style of room. It was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Air-con and shower both excellent. Nice amenities. This hotel absolutely caters more for families than its neighbour the RH Victoria. Having travelled as an adult only group, I definitely felt the RH Victoria a more popular choice for adults wanting a quieter and more relaxed vibe. A good hotel though, and would absolutely recommend.
