Appart'hôtel Saint Jean

Have used this hotel for about 10 years now. With companies taking over the hotel over the past years, the hotel would benefit from a refurb. (Rooms, reception, aircon etc.) Also, would be good to be advised of the room housekeeping arrangements since this has changed considerably over the last few years. Staff have always maintained excellent standards and willing to assist in all matters.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Great location. We are returning guests and would stay here again if we make the trip back to Lourdes.

Very cheap apart hotel in the Lourdes centre 5 minutes walking from the sanctuary

Nice hotel 5 minutes walking distance by the sanctuary and all amenities. Available dishes, and all necessary for cooking without waste your money in commercial restaurant

It was far from everything that we expected, location wise. You have to get your keys reprogram every night cos they lock you out nightly. You can’t ask for extra towels at night cos front desk doesn’t have access to them. In the morning when we were leaving, we purchased coffee. They didn’t have disposable cups. So we used the regular cups and we were in the lobby drinking coffee. This lady from the kitchen followed us and said do not take the cups with us. We are from the US we told her, we do not take cups. Very insulted with her attitude.

Not friendly staff.Reception lady Couldn’t speak english. Not helpful.

Facilities and staff was very good and excellent location for all needs.

Though we were given a room for reduced mobility, it turned out ok. Just it felt weird at first as I’ve not stayed with this set up before, and was not informed about it. Also, maybe the kitchenette should have a sign that one has to ask the reception for it to get dishes/cutleries/etc. for the room. We were not informed when we checked in and it was by chance that we saw the notice while waiting for the elevator.

Proximity to shrine campus, access to kitchen items, and affordability are advantages of this hotel. Limited desk hours (and perhaps general understaffing), and "free parking" that would be very competitive in busy season are disadvantages. Hotel is a little difficult to drive to because of all the one-way streets and construction in town. A visit to Lourdes is well worth it overall.

good enough to spent your time for 3 days and see the very historical place and the city of Lourdes where St Bernadette had spent her life and see the virgin Mary.
