The bedroom was extremely quiet and very comfortable! We also loved that the hotel is pet-friendly. The staff were all helpful and friendly.

It would be nice if the restaurant was open mid-week for dinner.

"Welcoming Personality Lacking"

Crazy that bar only open weekends Front desk staff need a training in how to be pleasant. If social skills are lacking and it's tough to have a good personality, at least give lessons in being pleasant. Twice I was looked at like I was an alien from another galaxy when asking a simple about coffee.

"A wonderful historic hotel in beautiful Staunton!"

Love this hotel that proudly oozes old(er) world charm in keeping with historic and beautiful Staunton. Staff were genuinely friendly and most helpful and accommodating to our needs. The room was spotless and queen-sized bed and linen most comfortable. The onsite parking was easy and connected to the main lobby. The location was superb for exploring the many nice bars, restaurants and shops - all within easy walking distance and most charming. Loved the town! As a beautiful mural on a nearby building beckons: "You Belong Here".

Nothing negative about this place other than my stay was too short!
