THB Tropical Island

Le complexe est grand et très propre. Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien aménagées.

Cependant les chambres et salles de bain sont vieillissantes et manquent de fraîcheur. Les salles de restauration sont en sous sol et c’est vraiment dommage. Les piscines non chauffées en avril ne sont pas accessibles (trop froides) et les piscines chauffées ça passe mais c’est juste. Et manque de bol pour nous (ou pas) mais le SPA était fermé.

Had a lovely holiday here, staff friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We went half board, the options on the buffet breakfast and dinner had a wide selection of all sorts of foods, kids were always thrilled to see the chocolate fountain & marshmallows as a pudding option. No issues with getting sunbeds by main pool, which is a decent size and lovely in the sun and has slides in one section. There is also a splash park for younger children. Our room overlooked the main pool to the front and one of the smaller pools to the back, we didn't use it but also could have got beds by it if wanted. Hotel policy was not to reserve beds but all guests while we were there were pretty reasonable and didn't hog beds unnecessarily. The entertainment is mainly provided by the French holiday rep company on site but they always included other nationalities if they could, especially the kids disco. Hotel is approx 10-15 minutes walk to the beach then you can walk up and down the front passing multiple shops and restaurants, plenty of options for those wanting to do self catering. The rooms do provide some cooking facilities, good for morning coffee and toast but probably not ideal for a full meal. Small downside is the decor probably needs some attention; cracked tiles, paint, some rust on hinges on cupboards - mainly cosmetic and we saw plenty of cleaning and maintenance staff to cover any simple issues. Overall we enjoyed our stay, great for a relaxing and worry-free holiday. Thank you to the staff for good food and great service 🙂

Loved the hotel. We normally stay 4 or 5 star but could not fault our stay. We had half board normally swapping the evening meal for lunch. The food was of good quality, particularly the breakfast. The room was spacious and well equipped some of the rooms/apartment blocks have there own pools. The kids loved the water slides and splash park. The main pool areas were very clean and the entertainment team were fantastic. All the the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The gym and spa area along with the adults only pool area were also great. The hotel is a short 10/15 minute walk down to the beach area where there are many restaurants shops and bars. We would definitely stay again.

This is the worst hotel ever. You can’t even get a towel each to have a shower despite making 3 requests. We are all paying the same price but despite asking and the hotel say they will send towels, they don’t. The towels are just one of the issues but stay away from here, it’s disgusting 🤢

This was our third time to this hotel and it did not disappoint! We booked this break to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we had the best time! The hotel rooms are clean and spacious and the grounds are very pretty with many pools and palm trees. I contacted the hotel with a request before my holiday started and was blown away with the helpfulness and care that they provided especially Patricia who could not do enough for us. We are extremely grateful. The pool area is wonderful and you choose whether you want to use the main pool or one of the many smaller ones dotted around the complex. Pool bar had some amazing cocktails and the Pizza was also really nice. You could opt to have pizza to take away which I thought was great and we sat and ate ours on our balcony. The hotel is only a 10/15 min walk to the beach and promenade of playa blanca and nice and central between the harbour and the marina. All of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and we look forward to booking again. Thank you all at Thb tropical island for helping us make some more special memories!

very this was fantastic and the staff was great food was great for half board the only thing i would say was as it got busier the toilet around the pool needed to be cleaned more regularly but otherwise was fantastic holiday

El desayuno era lo que mejor estaba. La cocina en directo muy bien tortillas de patatas recién hechas,tortillas francesas con queso, tomate,jamón York,etc y huevos fritos(a la plancha).

El complejo es muy grande con mucha distancia desde que te recepcionan hasta la habitación(tienes que tirar de maletas) es matador(solo unos pocos carros) como los del aeropuerto para cargar maletas para todo el complejo. Las habitaciones no están preparadas para la lluvia ni aislar del frío o del calor.Durante la estancia llovió y se metió el agua en una de las habitaciones(127) por la ventana del salón y de la habitación,mantenimiento de las estancias muy malo(se debe invertir para poder ganar). Respecto a la limpieza,solamente te hacen la cama y pasan la fregona y cambio de toallas,el baño guarda muchísimo la humedad con lo que todo el polvo del suelo,pelos,etc se queda pegado al mismo suelo,se debería pasar mopa para ese tipo de suciedad y después fregar.No te cambian las sábanas. Bastante polvo en la mesilla de la habitación donde está el teléfono,entre la caja fuerte y el armario,y en la ranura de la puerta del baño(en estas zonas no se ha pasado una aspiradora o quitado el polvo nunca).La limpieza es bastante superficial debido a que tienen poco personal para el complejo tan grande que es y el tiempo de limpieza(trabajo) da para lo que da. Poca inversión por parte de los terratenientes(dueños) de los complejos en personal y en mantenimiento de todo el complejo. Con todo lo que cobran y ganan....ya podrían aflojar más el bolsillo ya que las construcciones en las islas son de pésima y bajísima calidad,sin aislamiento alguno,ventanas que no cierran,que no ajustan,que no aíslan,y un largo etc.....
