THB Tropical Island

Great complex with plenty to do for kids.

10th stay at THB Tropical Island Playa Blanca since 2022. We've been visiting Lanzarote for 20ish years, stayed at various resorts, hotels, but happily a few years ago another hotel could not us meet our dates and we chose THB, A stroke of luck and we would not go anywhere else if visiting Lanzarote. What brings our family back: Staff - they put holiday makers first and want everyone to have their best holiday. Pools - loads of them to suit everyone. Adults only pool - peaceful and newly refurbished. Hotel grounds - so much greenery and well maintained. Sunbeds - 100s of them no fights at 6am for one! Rooms - really spacious and well maintained, I don't care if my favourite/preferred room is dated, it's kept clean and fresh by maids, I get fresh towels, bedding etc regularly, no need to ask. Restaurants - great value/choice at the buffet restaurant and Atlantic for take away or eat in for pizza, pasta etc, plus same price for eating in our takeaway! Issues - sorted within minutes. Entertainment - for kids and adults. Location - 10 minutes to "town" and beach or 15 minutes to marina. Hotel - spacious and quiet. It never feels over crowded. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - next stay September, see you then😁

Me and my family loved our holiday here , kids loved the pools and the show each night , kids club was good anytime they used it was a bit quiet but understandable this time of the year , first time in playa blanca and really enjoyed it will be back.

Place is definitely family oriented, which is exact what we needed. Plenty of swimming pools as well as water slides and splashing areas are great, for all ages. There is also shops and party places, sport pitches and other play areas. Its definitely a great place to stay for families.

Kitchen annex was a bit poor equipped, could be a bit challenging if you like to cook some meals. But you can still manage if you try.

Très bon séjour dans l’ensemble. L’hôtel était très bien, propre, agréable et le personnel a été réactif et professionnel. Les enfants se sont vraiment bien amusés, ils ont passé de super vacances. Le seul point négatif a été un problème de fourmis dans l’appartement, qui envahissaient nos courses. Mais dès que nous avons informé l’hôtel, ils ont pris la situation au sérieux et sont intervenus rapidement. Le problème a été réglé en deux jours. Mis à part cela, rien à dire, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Merci à toute l’équipe.
