I like the Gym because it provides an opportunity to exercise. Although not so big, it is very important for balancing work and health.

Room, the lifts, facilities, A/C unit did not work. Hotel seemed unwilling to change room. Could not contact reception.

What an absolute disgrace. Please avoid in the heat. The air conditioning units in some rooms are broken and the management response is pathetic. I’ve since read reviews that the heating doesn’t work in some rooms when it is cold. No fans, nothing to compensate. I actually got a response of “well do you have air conditioning at home!” Actually, I do in one room but have fans and windows that allow a through draught.

Location was helpful for work

Aircon in my room was broken, I reported it on the app and had no response. I spoke to somebody at reception who said the aircon at the whole hotel was broken so I couldn’t move rooms (not sure it was) they promised me a fan and didn’t provide one even though they promised it twice- I would have rathered they said they didn’t have one if that was the case.

The restaurant area needs a good clean and most items on the menu were not available. We had two evening meals there and both times we were presented with a long list of meals that were not available.

A comfortable, reasonably priced hotel, well located for the Nottingham Arena(short bus ride, or 1 mile walk, all downhill), and city centre. Also just across the road from the park, if you are a Saturday parkrunner! I have used this hotel for many years. Parking on-site is £12 for 24 hrs(as of 2026).

No complaints, apart from the cost to park on-site. An extra added charge nowadays for most city centre hotels. 🫤
