"Dire need of vision"

A tale of poor management, the roadway inn was probably the worst place we have ever stayed. And, this would seem completely unnecessary. The Inn sits right next door to a very popular tourist destination in Homosassa Springs. This level of horrific mismanagement can only be attributed to 1. Gambling, 2. Substance abuse, 3. Mental illness or, more likely, 4. A combination of all three. In short, a perfectly fortunate coincidence of opprtunities has been squandered as if on purpose.

Bad: Had to evict a roach hanging on ceiling above the bed as soon as we arrived. No insulation resulting in alot of noise from cleaners and guests. Winter would be freezing. Dust, soda droplets (spewed), old pretzels on the window sills, wall, floor a/c unit. Multiple hairs in bathroom. Sitting on beds caused booming, echoing noise from springs. Good: Independent pub/dining on site had good food and portions. Direct access to wildlife/refuge park. Low cost.

As the post said three years ago! This place needs to be condemned!! Mildew on the ceiling in the bathroom, smoke and mildew smell in the room. Lots of suspicious activity and traffic, and smelled smoke all night. Pictures shown on website were taken when the place was first built, this place is ran down. Cheap is not better in this case.

A non- smoking room should not smell like smoke . Car air freshener in the air conditioner isn't going to cover it up. This place gave us the impression of a extended stay hotel.

Very basic, but clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. The bar/restaurant in the hotel had good food and a lively local group of customers. Fun.

"Spacious, clean, nice front guest"

Front desk was nice, place was clean. Aside from a few rowdy guest waking us up (not in hotels control) it was nice overall and by everything you could possibly want. Would recommend.

Avoid this place!!!! Roaches all over the room clumps of hair on the floor, shower dirty. Can’t believe they are still in business
