Mercure Telford Centre Hotel

Incredible service, Incredible stay.

Unfortunately receptionist on check-in appeared uninterested and lacking interest in what they were doing. This contrasted markedly with a mid evening experience and upon check out (although the receptionist was on a call - they happily indicated for us to leave our key). Staff in restaurant were appropriately attentive and happy to advise on choices. Pool facilities are ok however the area feels tired and could do with an update, whilst changing rooms are clean, the lack of locking lockers is disappointing (you need to provide your own padlocks). Bedroom- comfortable, bathroom ok

Had a lovely stay, staff were great, first room, tv wasnt working but staff quickly resolved that by changing rooms, stayed in room 102 with being right by the stairs you can hear the door always slaming, but other than that no complaints, we didnt eat at the resturant, we ordered takeaway to hotel with no issues, asked staff for forks they quickly sorted them we have stayed here a few times never usually have any issues, parking is a bit expensive for only 1 night £10 but same price if ur staying more nights

Room heaters (both aircon and radiator) make too much noise during the night. Room doors are closed so fast it does a loud bang noise that is heard all rooms in that floor. Cleaning was good. Breakfast and the bar was my favorite.

Comfortable and quiet

My stay here was enjoyable because it’s a clean well presented hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will be staying here again.

great place to stay, close to food outlets but quiet surroundings. my only issue with the hotel was my room 607 was very dull with very little lighting.

Great hotel great breakfast friendly staff the only thing is that when you book your reservation they don’t tell you that you have to pay £10 parking charge.
