Thunderbird Motel

Rented 2 rooms. Management first assigned me to street side room, smelled of heavy smoke, excess traffic noise. I requested a different room and assigned another room with musty smell. My observations are: $70 per night room rate is way to much. There is excessive differed maintenence problems everywhere, out dated electrical, plumbing, flooring, beds, entry door, etc. My brother's room next door had been broken into and door not repaired. Believe the 1 star ratings on these reviews. I would not recommend this place at all.

Well, kinda hard to figure this place getting consistent 4.2 plus ratings. But we booked and probably should have known better. Supposedly sold out so couldn’t get a different room when I noticed the door frame had been busted in. My 38 will be bedside tonight

Great place, clean, and friendly staff

The room was nice for the price.

If I hadn't been so tired when I checked in then got to the room I would have gone back, demanded a refund and went elsewhere. I'm a smoker, although I don't normally smoke indoors or in my car, I took a smoking room. It was an awful room (202) with crappy carpet, bed linens that don't match, one looked like they just pulled up the covers and called it good on making the bed. Thick foam that I sank in and made it hotter. Not clean. Big difference between dated, but nice and that is not this motel. The AC was so high I could barely see the controls and when I turned it on it blew crap in my face and it was hot. In the morning when I could see better there was a hand drawn scotch taped picture of the controls on the front and I hadn't turned on the AC to cool. Microwave and refrigerator looked bad and I didn't open them. No coffeemaker or coffee in the room. Never again would I stay here or recommend this place.

It is an inexpensive motel, and in my opinion it comes across that way. I didn’t feel safe there, and while the bed was comfortable the rest of the room was really shabby. Tv didn’t work, no coffee. Check in person was very nice. Location seems convenient.

Will never stay here again. The guy at the desk forced me to prove that my room was paid for. I had to go to the car, fire up my laptop, find proof that I paid through Expedia, and carry my laptop in and show him. And he had an attitude too! The room was run down and dingy. Most slippery bathtub I ever saw. Shower at your own risk.

Loud with occupants hang outside my room,partying. Questionable character.

I needed a place to rest and i rested well at Thunderbird.

Crisp and Clean. They overbooked the King room originally reserved, but offered a newly remodeled room in place of that, and for the same price. Awesome attitude, and a nice place to lay your head down for the evening that is only a short distance away from the more busy part of town.
