Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi

Room was filthy on arrival- years of neglect and not being maintained properly. Had to ask for sheets to be changed and as deep clean (which was minimal). Towels and drinks not replenished daily, despite being in a club room. Not enough staff in restaurants. Breakfast- limited choice, food not labelled, cross contamination of serving utensils. The hotel changed the tone of our outward boat shuttle without telling us causing issues with our flight. Staff seem unhappy and service is below par compared to usual Thai hospitality. Would not stay here again

Las fotos no son la realidad… la comida es muy cara. Comunicarse con el personal es complicado. El transporte es un tema, no nos recogieron en el aeropuerto por más de que avisamos y apartamos uno. Si tienes alguna enmergencia médica por la noche será un problema ya que tendrás que caminar tú mismo por un sendero durante media hora para ser atendido en una farmacia. El hotel brinda 0 ayuda con medicamentos, no hay doctor… el hotel está viejo… la comida si es muy buena pero muy cara…

Fantastisk beliggenhed, man følte man var på sin egen ø. Rigtig god strand, samt pool med rutschebane og basketkurv. Rigtig god mad på strandcafeen og rigtig god morgenmad.

Very disappinted a borthday celebration beach dining was carried out after arranging at reception with young staff very por on a special day . Spoilt it!

First time in Krabi. The hotel is beautiful. Very clean . With a lot of amenities. All the staff were very nice and professional. We stayed on a high end room. The room had a king bed , soaking tub and shower , jacuzzi, sun, and tanning area. Room service and laundry service.. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for making our stay magical. Breathtaking views, nice pool. Some deferred maintenance and upgrades (bathrooms need new mirrors and sinks). Our ceiling fan was so loud we couldn’t use it the first night but was replaced when we complained to the front desk. Staff was very friendly but claim your spot at the pool early if you want shade and/or an umbrella. The Thai restaurant had excellent meals, particularly the fish in sweet chili sauce. Breakfast was good but very chaotic.

This property was probably beautiful when it first opened but it is now run-down & needs maintenance. The location is stunning, as it's set within a national park. There are monkeys around, so beware! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lounge access was well worth the upgrade as the afternoon tea and evening cocktail hour had a nice selection of items. Breakfast was just average for us but there is a lot of options to chose from.

Lovely hotel. The staff went above and beyond for me and my partner who were celebrating our anniversary. I couldn’t fault them. Ao nang beach area is extremely busy and this hotel was great for escaping that. I’d say the only negative was the monkey trail especially if you have reduced mobility. It’s very steep and there’s lot of steps. They do provide a boat transfer however it’s only at certain times and they do prioritise those people checking in and out. Would stay again.
