The hotel rooms are quite basic, though they were cleaned daily, which was appreciated. There was always plenty of food available, but it wasn’t clear what the dishes actually were — signs only said things like “chicken” or “rice,” without explaining what type of dish it was. At busy times, the queues for food were very long. You also had to be careful with items cooked on the grill, as food was occasionally served undercooked, and staff didn’t seem concerned when this was pointed out. I used the laundry service during my stay. While my clothes were cleaned, they weren’t ironed, and one t-shirt was missing when the laundry was returned. When I raised this with staff, my complaint was dismissed, and no effort was made to resolve it. Around the pool, the music was sometimes extremely loud during the day, which made it difficult to relax. On a positive note, the entertainment and animation team were excellent — they really were the highlight of the holiday. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel for anyone travelling with a young family.

Lovely hotel but rooms are a bit dated. Food was a bit hit and miss and very repetitive. Restaurant staff trying to do too many jobs and thus place is very confusing and always running out of plates, glasses , cups etc.

A good hotel for the price, in a decent location to restaurants/shops/beach, comfortable and clean room. Could do with a bit of updating around the hotel like some redecoration and we personally weren’t lovers of the food but managed to eat something most days.

Just arrived home after 10 days at Houda Yasmine. We paid extra for a superior room but on arrival the room was very small, run down and the air con was extremely noisy, I spoke with reception and as it was very late at night there were no other rooms available and to speak with the manager in the morning. We did this and there were no issues in changing rooms other than having to wait till late afternoon to do this. The next room was ok ( I wouldn’t say superior and definitely did not match the rooms in the pictures) but we were so tired from travelling and lack of sleep we accepted it and it suited our needs. The rooms are cleaned every day and although a little dated we’re comfortable. There is a distinct lack of storage but there was an extra bed so we used that for clothes usually stored in drawers. The food is a bit hit or miss but we always found something to eat and desserts are amazing. Drinks are ok but it does state premium drinks are extra. The restaurant is pretty disorganised, plates and cutlery at each station would help. Bar always running out of glasses ( I got the feeling they just don’t have enough glasses rather than them not being cleared as the bar staff work tirelessly to collect them as well as taking and delivering orders) and they then had to serve drinks in tiny plastic cups which puts extra pressure on the bar staff as people then order drinks more often. What makes this hotel is its staff! The cleaners, Reception, Restaurant and Bar staff were all so friendly and helpful. We tipped every couple of days as wages in Tunisia are pretty poor and they all deserve so much more. The Animation staff were amazing. Friendly and engaging without being overbearing. Try to join in as again they work super hard with little resources to provide the entertainment programme. We had a fantastic time and would like to personally thank Fredy, Zico, Ronaldo, Selma, Lorenzo, Peppito, Mbappe and all the waiters and bar staff who looked after us. Xx I would return to this hotel but it would be nice to see some progress on refurbishing the rooms and more resources given to entertainment.

Has the best time on my family Holliday. The entertainment was immaculate. Everyone was super friendly and had entertainment for all age groups. The two individuals that stood out to me and my family was Lorenzo and Ronaldo. They made the effort to communicate with us and made sure we had the best experience. Encouraging us to interact in the games and all the classes. Over all I had the best time and would definitely come back again and would recommend to everyone to come here.

The staff are wonderful. The Animation team really made our holiday so enjoyable . We loved every minute of our holiday. Thank you 🙏🏻 all so very much x

Definitely not the hotel we stayed in. The Houda Yesmine marina was a very basic hotel. The rooms were not cleaned until the 4th day. No clean towels either for days. We booked and paid a huge extra charge for 4 single rooms months in advance only to be told at 11.40pm that they are not ready, we have to share 1 until tomorrow. We had no choice but to share two of us got rooms that looked like they were for refugees. We checked out of the rooms next morning as reception told to do and left our baggage in their reception room area so they would allocate us our single occupancy rooms. We told them we were on a day trip at 10am and they said the rooms would be ready on our return. So 6.30pm we arrived back at the hotel only to be told no rooms. The reception manager was very rude then the booking manager told us he had the rooms for us this morning, but we were not there. So basically he was saying it's our fault we have no rooms. Their department communication levels are none existing. So we had to cause a scene to get rooms, even then, they were giving us the rooms we checked out of at first, then rooms that we had to share. Finally after a great deal of upset and stress we got separate rooms. Never again will we go to Tunisia. This hotel has put us right off. The food was ok but always cold, the pool was good. It's classed as a 4 star but in I would rate it as a 1 or at a push a 2 star.
