Hotel Edelweiss

The hotel is centrally located, but in a rather noisy area. Not 4 star service, nor 4 star quality. During the stay the room was full of mosquitos, and during the only night of my stay the air ventilation started a noise that could not let me sleep. The reception’s advise was to open the window and turn the AC off and that the manager would have been notified. The following morning during the check out I raised my concern on the fact that a 4 star hotel could not find a solution for me to sleep during the night, nor offer an apology. The receptionist took my details to ensure the manger could have made contact with me to apologize for the inconvenient. After weeks I made contact myself and I was offered a discount by the manager for my next stay. Of course never would happen again. I travel to Geneva often, and this is not the service a 4 star hotel should have. Design: average, poor quality materials, clearly made to replicate a tacky chalet Service: poor Upside, if you stay here: across the road there is fresh bakery for breakfast. Unfortunately it is not possible to upload the video of the banging noise that kept me awake all night, but this was shared with the manager

There’s a lot of people with heavy addictions very nearby. My reservation made about one month in advance was about to not be respected with the argument that you get more people than expected: unacceptable

Property felt new. Design felt cozy and made you feel as if you were in the middle of the Swiss alps. Room and restaurant were beautifully decorated. Staff was very pleasant. Would highly recommend.

The A/C was either out of service or they limit the use until later in the summer. This should be in listed in the details. The room was very warm and we had to request a fan which the hotel was happy to provide. Otherwise we had a nice experience

Great location! Lots of places to eat and buy groceries within a short walking distance. Our room was on the 6th floor, facing the rear of the building, and it was very quiet at night. We're so happy that our housekeeper showed us how to open the window to allow a nice breeze to flow into the room as the AC units aren't turned on until the summer months. We were completely satisfied with our stay.

Great staff. Nice decor. Location is convenient although the short walk from the train station is through a sketchy neighbourhood

Lovely rooms and breakfast was delicious. Great location for Geneva - parking was a walk but wasnt a problem as we dropped bags then parked.
