Wuksachi Lodge

The lodge is in the midst of serene beauty. I was surprised that it was so neat as well. Just had one issue with the bath tub being clogged. It took forever to drain. Rest of the experience was just awesome!

Wuksachi Lodge is clean, presentable and relatively rustic, and is well worth the cost for the extremely convenient location in the heart of Sequoia National Park. The service was helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed having breakfast at the in-house restaurant as well as enjoying one dinner there and another one at the pizza deck. We had originally considered staying outside of the park in Three Rivers, and after having visited, we were incredibly glad that we did not have to do a 45 minute white knuckle drive twice daily just to enter and exit the park. And by staying at Wuksachi, we were also much closer to Kings Canyon, and therefore had time to visit both Sequoia and Kings Canyon during our 3 night stay. Please note that only the largest room class has air conditioning, so for a Summer stay it might be worth the splurge, particularly if there is a heat wave. We visited in late June and used the air conditioning to keep our room cool during the daytime, and at night we really just needed the fan (which is in every room). But if you're someone who's used to air conditioning, definitely get the largest room type. We would definitely stay at Wuksachi during our next visit to the SEKI national parks.

Love the location. Quiet. Close to main tourist spots. Not a whole lot to do after hiking is done.

The staff was friendly and the check in/out process was quick and easy. I appreciated the location of this property, which is in close proximity to all of the popular tourist attractions in the park. The room was pretty basic, but was clean and well kept. Overall, I was happy with my stay and would return to Wuksachi Lodge if visiting in the future.

Stay was great except the ceiling fan in the room was wobbly and made noise. The shower gel was out and coffee maker didn’t work.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The food was surprisingly good. It was well worth it to stay in the park given the proximity to sites (especially considering the distance and windy roads to get inside the park). We even saw deer from our bedroom in the morning.

Nice stay. A little more expensive than a regular hotel but it saves you lots of time and miles by staying in the park. The actual lodging is in 3 apartment looking buildings named Stewart, Stillman and Sequoia. We were in room 103 in Stewart. Not the deluxe view as advertised. We were on the first floor and basically looked at a few pine trees and parking lot, which is better than the service road on the other side of the hotel, I guess. If you really stretched you could see a bit of mountain. That said, the room was very nice, king bed, desk, pull out couch, etc. Be aware the shuttle only picks up here on the weekends, so you still need to drive into the park.

We loved staying at Wuksachi Lodge. Very convenient for exploring the park and loved being able to enjoy the dark skies! Easily walkable to food and drinks. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Excellent stay. The staff was courageous and the restaurant was exceptional. Because of bear activity I had to empty my car. The hotel provided luggage carts which made transporting the large quantity of items from my car to my room much easier.

5 stars for everything! The breakfast was good given the area ! Will be coming back !
