Great location - although golf course meant we couldn't walk around the best views. Staff all very friendly and helpful but not adequately trained due to lack of supervision/management. Did not match the 5 star standard as per Expedia. Check in experience was poor (room not fully serviced!) with management response dismissive/lacking in customer service.

I had the most amazing experience and will definitely come back. The view, the service, the quality, the environment....everything about this place is just so amazing. I absolutely loved it.

"Arabella disappoints"

The hotel is deteriorating in terms of service and cleanliness. Rooms and carpets are dirty and on the 1st morning the room was not cleaned. Bed was pulled right, but towels still on the floor, dirty bins, dirty bathroom and fridge. Overall poor cleaning and condition of room. Went to 5th floor for coffee and waited for ages with no waiter to be located. Eventually she rocked up and we were served with no apology or smile or in fact any emotion. Food generally not bad, however bad experience with fish not being the usual fresh good quality. Restaurant staff are friendly but not very efficient. Never seen so many guests waving hands to no avail. Rather disappointing considering the fact that we are frequent visitors to the hotel. Really hope the overall service improves and matches the star-grading.

Had a lovely stay just disappointed that they were not able to accommodate us for another evening and did not bother to come back to us . While other booking sites had accommodation available on he day of our departure - I had already booked in at another hotel by then . Rather impersonal

I have visited this hotel many times and this stay was sadly a little disappointing. The room and outside facilities are lovely but the restaurant, service and food was far below par.
