Arabella Hotel Golf & Spa

Horrible, firstly the room we booked with the view we didn’t recive on arrival then we had to wait for another room which wasn’t even fully prepared along with not being cleaned up to standards. Found hair inside my food, within the 10days of different hotels and my travelling in the last 5 years the worst I have stayed in so far very low standandarda I don’t rate this place at all.

We went to the Arabella to celebrate my 40th birthday, I booked two rooms via hotels.com The overall stay was disappointing. The food at breakfast and dinner was nearly inedible and way over priced. The restaurant staff were very unfriendly to such a point they told the children to "sit down and be quiet", I mean really a 2 and 4 year old . . . .if they don't want children don't advertise it as a family friendly hotel with children's club The handles on the bathroom doors were falling off, not security lock on the inside of the one bedroom door. The toilet was not clean in the one room so I had to call housekeeping . . unhygienic and disgusting. I will never visit this hotel again nor will I promote it as a holiday destination . . . It was a terrible letdown in celebrating my birthday!

Loved the Hotel. Rooms nicely decorated and clean. Hotel to relook at spa closing times...maybe 21:00. Food was also good not that pricey. Alcohol ridiculously expensive. Does the hotel really need a 200% markup on the alcohol they sell. The price per night is reasonable enough. Cant really complain...staff friendly. Will defintately return.

Hotel was beatuful with good service, and proficient staff. Amenities were very good just a pity that the menu selection was limited and not up to standard for a five star establishment.

Wonderful first time experience to stay in the area and the hotel !! We enjoyed every moment ! And wil go again. ONLY thing that was not acceptable - nobody to receive us outside and help us with luggage .....

Stayed for the 4th time on visits to Cape Town. I think this should say it all.

The general experience was satisfactory. The suites, spa and receptions areas are very clean. The suites could do with a soft-makeover which is way overdue. Dinner at the A-la-cart restaurant was reserved a week in advance, confirmed at check-in and again checked once I was in my room. When we arrived for dinner, we were seated in the buffet restaurant between an extremely loud an rowdy group of conference attendees. Only once I voiced my dismay, was the A-la-cart opened and we were seated there....soon to be joined by 3 other tables. And even in this restaurant a peaceful meal was unattainable since the noise from the buffet restaurant was overwhelmingly loud. While I fully appreciate that a hotel biggest income is from hosting conferences, it can NOT be done at the expense of the other guests who are ALSO paying a full rate.

Thank you - our stay in Arabella has been amazing. Just surpriced by all the kids that also visit the Hotel. The public areas were very noicy - kids crying and screaming all the time. Defnitely not a venue for a romantic weekend. I would like to suggest that you maybe have private area for the parents with kids... it is such an awesome venue - 5 star service... and then the kids spoil it all for the couples who dont have kids. One of the best Hotels I have stayed in - amazing staff, the best Spa experience.... but to many screaming kids🙈🙈🙈🙈

This is a lovely exclusive hotel, set overlooking a lagoon and with a golf course wrapped around, it also has two lovely tennis courts and a gorgeous pool area. The staff were all excellent and also friendly. When we asked for a late check out they were happy to oblige. Now part of the Marriott group, although not fully switched over st the time of our stay. Highly recommend.
