"Poor maintenance and service "

Time is 1:22 am and have group singing unruly and very noisy. Ist night was allocated to a room with non functional aircon.After complaining was allocated another room,shower head broken ,tv not working and poor wifi signal. Sadly all features are noted as selling features on Hotel.com.Never going to that place again.

"Home away from home"

My partner and I arrived and the reception was welcoming. The service was great. Id definately go back to escape the city for a few days.

"Dissatisfied stay at the lodge"

The room was a bit stuffy. Had power outages twice in one day. Cleaning services happens in the late afternoon only. Towels in the bathroom could do with a replacement...its very old and over used. Restaurant was closed most evenings for supper. Breakfast was a huge disappointment. No bartender in the bar....staff not knowledgeable about their drinks they stock. It was a huge disappointment. Some of the staff members were very helpful and friendly.

"Not bad but not the best."

The place is very nicely decorated and set up. Check in and out was easy, with friendly staff. They couldve done more as i went for a special occasion. The breakfast is slightly overpriced considering its not a buffet. The restaurant menu is also quite limited. Rooms were a nice size but the bedding did have stains which wasnt pleasant. Overall its a nice rest stop but not really much to do at the place itself.

"Horrible accommodation & service "

Very badly maintained rooms, nothing worked. Phone was disconnected and didn't work, TV didn't have a signal some light bulbs were off and the bathroom could not close. The air didn't have a remote and I waited for the remote till I check out. There was only 3 small towels, stained and didn't look clean at all. Overall the worst accommodation that I've every booked, its hopeless. Maybe that's why it was so cheap.

"Unpleasant stay at Shumba"

It was a very unpleasant stay. The first room that was allocated to me, the aircon was not working. I was moved to the second room and the aircon was not working. Finally after two hours the third room had a working aircon but it was dripping water and it was making a lot of noise and i finally switch it of.

"It was just ok"
