"Labor day weekend"

There was a little mix up at check in, but nothing major. The room was decent but there were sticky spots on the carpet and some hair in the shower. Breakfast was great. Staff were all friendly.

We stayed here for two nights on a short visit to see Lake Tahoe and Reno. The location wasn't too far from the airport, downtown Reno or the highway over the mountains to Lake Tahoe. We arrived at close to midnight and were greeted by a friendly, goth dude. He seemed appropriately appointed for night duty, but honestly, he was so kind at check-in and gave us each a bottle of water. The room was a king suite. We used the pull-out sofa for our son. He said it was of average comfort. Our king bed was comfortable. The room was clean, and we appreciated the fridge and microwave area. The breakfast was fine. Typical free breakfast at a hotel. But it got us going. Two small issues: there was a "nightlight" on the built-in hair dryer on the wall that was WAY too bright and reflected into the mirror and right into my eyes in bed. We had to cover it with four layers of towel to dampen the light. Also, the switches for the bathroom were oddly placed outside the door by the sink area. I'm used to this in UK bathrooms, but it was strange here, and I accidentally turned off the light while my husband was in the shower. Opps!

"Our stay was good, but drawback on no staff present at all at front desk during check out time."

Hotel is clean enough and I do like the little brown baggie of water and bagel with jam which we easily got at the front desk.

There was no on-duty staff at the front desk on the day of our check-out. I feel there should at least be one staff there at the front desk at all times. It is good they at least provided a drop off box for the keys of those checking out. But still, I think there should always be one staff there.
