Great spa, massive comfy beds and lovely staff. Will be returning as handy for a variety of roads too.

The health and spa is great and location was not too bad very clean hotel

Breakfast could have been better and despite telling staff at the breakfast that coffee wasn’t good perhaps machine needs coffee no one bothered checking

The location was good for what we required, breakfast was excellent and managed comfortably

The bar management leaves a lot to be desired, the wine my wife requested was unavailable two days running. The food (pie and vegetables) we requested was unavailable two days running. The bar manger spent a lot of time talking to staff members and not attending the bar or customers. The laundry facility governed by a contract the price of doing laundry was extremely expensive, it would of been cheaper to purchase new clothing.

De muziek in de hal voor de receptie stond nogal hard waardoor die ook in het restaurant nogal dominant te horen was. Niet bepaald een achtergrond muziekje.

Spa facilities relaxing and enjoyable. Both evening meals very tasty. Room and bathroom excellent.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location but near to both Gloucester and Cheltenham. Good size rooms that are in good condition and very clean. Friendly, helpful staff and good food options.

We recently enjoyed a weekend stay and, overall, found it to be excellent value for money thanks to the Travelzoo offer. The location is a real highlight, providing easy access to many of the beautiful Cotswolds villages, countryside walks, and local attractions. Our room was a good size, well-presented, and featured a very comfortable bed, making for a relaxing stay. The spa and leisure facilities were enjoyable but are beginning to look a little tired and could benefit from some refurbishment. The standout feature of our visit was the restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent, with a varied and well-executed menu. Service was equally impressive, particularly from Jess, who was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our dining experience. The bar and restaurant team were consistently warm, welcoming, and a credit to the hotel. Unfortunately, the reception experience let the hotel down. It appeared that the front desk was understaffed, which may have contributed to a lack of patience from some team members. The welcome felt frosty and the overall attitude was noticeably less welcoming than elsewhere in the hotel. This was disappointing, especially when compared with the superb service provided by the bar and restaurant staff. Despite this, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily return, particularly for the excellent restaurant, comfortable accommodation, and convenient location.
