Pink Shell Beach Resort and Marina

We had a wonderful stay at the Pink Shell Resort—perfect for families with kids. One of the highlights was the nature programming with Ranger Rob and Ranger Paityn, which was both fun and educational and kept our kids completely engaged. The activity coordinators were kind, patient and fun, and we especially loved the movie night at the pool with popcorn! There were so many activities to choose from each day, making it easy to stay entertained while on property. We especially loved the condo-style rooms with full kitchens, which made family meals simple and convenient. The beach was beautiful, with soft, clean sand that was perfect for kids to play on. Overall, it’s a fantastic, family-friendly resort that we’d definitely return to!

We have been coming here for 37 years and there’s a reason we keep coming back! The Pink Shell is a very special place to my family and they treat us so well! We appreciate all of you so much from the welcoming front desk, pre-trip planning with Jenn, our favorite bartenders Leo and Jacob, and of course Ranger Rob!!!!! Thank you for going above and beyond to make our trip extra special this year while we are missing two main family members who began the whole tradition, great grandma and papa! We felt their presence and had them in our hearts and are so grateful to have a place with such amazing memories with them. The octopool will be calling our names until next time! Can’t wait to be back!

Really a cut above. Everything here is done well and they provide a very refined experience. Whether you have kids or are empty nesters, this place is wonderful. Our second time at the Pink shell for our family vacation was a blast. My 6 year daughter old and i went on the back bay kayak tour with Ranger Rob which ended up being the highlight of our trip. Ranger Rob was very knowledgeable not only about dolphins, manatees and sea turtles which we came across while paddling, but could name any bird in the sky with some background info about it. I would recommend this or any of the tours Ranger Rob offers.

Nice resort except at night. Stayed in Sanibel rooms since adult only pool. Adult pool taken over by kids at night yelling and jumping off rocks with no adult supervision. Security is a joke. Kids run and hide and nothing happens. Security talked to kids like they were friends and did not ask to leave pool even though clearly under 17. Endured several nights of this until 11pm. Will not be back here. I would have given a good review but not now for what I paid.

The people at this resort go above and beyond! Concierge Myra makes you feel so welcome! As do CeCe, Jordan! Reed the valet is the sweetest young man, always with a smile!

As always, Pink Shell delivers and goes above and beyond for an easy, relaxing, engaging fun family vacation. Rooms are spacious, food is great (and food delivery is simple), bartenders are top notch, pool and beach are comfortable, clean, and very well-managed. There were always people there ready to help and answer questions which really helped my always-researching and decision fatigue. What really blew us out of the water this trip was the kids activities, especially the nature excursions and activities with Ranger Rob. There is so much to do that kids WANT to be a part of! He and his new assistant Ranger Paityn made our girls (9, 7 and 4) so excited to dive into everything they had to offer, which was a lot! From morning beach walks exploring seashells while learning about local marine life and sunrise kayak tours discovering rare birds, dolphin moms and dolphin babies—to afternoon junior ranger excursions exploring tortoises and dissecting local animal pellets to learn more about the circle of life. My girls were so engaged and woke up looking forward to everything Ranger Rob and the Pink Shell offers. We also love how easy it is to kayak, paddle board, jet ski and parasail—it’s all right there!

Beautiful location with a lot of activities offered, especially for families. Nature-based programming was educational and inspiring (thank you Ranger Rob!). Delicious breakfast, but too much single use plastic was used (eg., wrapping each plum in plastic wrap).

Absolutely amazing experience highly recommend, I highly recommend booking with Ranger Rob to go kayaking had a amazing time, the sunrise tour was so beautiful and highly recommend so you'll be able to see more wildlife

This is our second time staying at Pink Shell and we had a wonderful time again! We love the amenities and all the activities for the kids. The sunset views are unreal, the staff is exceptional and we love that breakfast is included with your stay! This time around, we booked a sunrise kayak tour with Ranger Rob. It was definitely a highlight of our trip! Highly recommend it! We went with our two boys, ages 8 & 11. It was my first time on a kayak and Ranger Rob was patient and helpful. We can’t wait for our next visit!!
