Unfortunately stair lift out of order so long walk to back entrance for lift then long walk back to reception. For two elderly ladies who rely on walkers, with slopes to get to reception this was very difficult and tiring. The entrance to room was very narrow and immediate left into room from door was awkward. Doors very heavy and didn't keep open to let you get into room. Position of toilet in room was a very small corner, kept banging my elbow on towel rail in front of sink. The lift nearest to room button panel was loose at the top and very sharp.

Sorry done this back to front. I loved the room itself. Very comfortable. I loved the view of the river. Very clean. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful and great value for money. Staff were all truly exceptional, so kind and helpful, patient and caring.

"Tired brutalist building but great location and good staff"

Hotel is a bit run down but it functions effectively as an overnight business stopover. Looks better inside than out. Staff were very good. Decent shower.

Couldn't get the aircon working
