Radisson Blu Hotel, Lucerne

Check-in was smooth and friendly, with helpful staff who made us feel welcome right away. The lounge area has a modern, stylish feel that sets the tone for the stay. We booked a premium room, which was spacious by European standards. A personalized welcome note with fruit and macarons was a thoughtful touch. The room and bathroom were both clean and modern, with a comfortable bed, quality linens, and a reasonably sized LED TV. Everything felt well-maintained. The gym was well-equipped with all the standard machines, clean, and in good condition—perfect for keeping up with workouts while traveling. Location is excellent: right next to the train station for convenience, yet slightly on the edge of the city center, which makes it peaceful/quiet but may be less appealing if you want to be right in the city. It’s an easy, safe walk to the main attractions, and the hotel also offers transport options (though we didn’t need to use them). Overall, service stood out—staff were consistently kind, attentive, and helpful. A great combination of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. Would definitely recommend to both business and leisure travelers.

Excellent service

Fantastic two night stay on our rail tour of Switzerland. Hotel very close to rail station in a very quiet location. We arrived early and were delighted that our room was ready and we hand been allocated a junior suite! A very welcome surprise half way through our two week tour The room, unsurprisingly, was extremely comfortable, spacious and quiet. Excellent breakfast and evening meal in the hotel restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful. Our only niggle was, unlike all our other hotels, this one did not provide BBC channels [apart from BBC news]. We were unable to stream iplayer so had a mad scramble to find a station playing England's rugby world cup quarter final match, We managed it with a few moments thank goodness. Other than this, it was an excellent stay.

Everything it was very good

This has to be one of the cleanest hotels i have stayed at. The staff is beyond helpful.. from great places to visit, and great restaurants other then the one on site. And to have the mountains in the brack drop when you walk out the lobby door.

We arrived very early for our stay , naturally our room was not ready as yet .Kris accepted our baggage ,explained interesting places to see in the city and even arranged a free bus ticket to tour the city .He took our phone number and called us when the room was ready .It was a beautiful room . I booked a twin room with a lake view, but on arrival I was given a 2nd floor room where the view was blocked by trees. The next day, the staff kindly relocated me to a 4th floor room with a beautiful lake view. The front desk was very helpful and even offered me a restaurant and bar discount for my 6-night stay. Overall, I appreciated their service, though my initial request was not fulfilled as expected.

Without doubt, this was one of the best place we stayed in Switzerland. Starting from lobby / reception to restaurant staffs were extreamly cooperative and warm in receiving guests. The check in procedure is hassle free and the property is just facing the lake. Amazing stay we had during our visit.

Bed was good, AC was not that great ( not sure if there is ac or just fan) it was very hot when we stayed so that's why, usually it never gets this hot in Switzerland. Overall hotel is great and I recommend.
