Radisson Blu Hotel, Lucerne

One incident is that our room keys were disabled and my daughter spoiled her clothes in search of a bathroom. Cake was not delivered in the room even after paying up for it 2 months in advance. Ruined the whole trip for us.

Mattress needs to be replaced. It has a bloodstain.

We've stayed here before and had a good experience, but our last trip was not great. It started with a lot of hassle during check-in. Staff was asking us to fill out a lot more information than usual, and tried to trick us into joining their rewards program. Room cleanliness left more to be desired, with a poop stain fully visible on a "clean" towel in the bathroom.

Currently staying here and the hotel is overcrowded. No bell boys or concierge service. I found it quite unclean in general. The rooms get very very hot in summer and the AC is not very efficient. My daughter and I both have got rashes and we were unable to sleep at night due to the heat Gave us torn towels and didn’t replace used coffee mugs.

The area nearby is a park with a food market , a bit too noise

Hotel was nice and in a good location but was incredibly overcrowded/understaffed. Took over 20 mins waiting in line to check in, our room wasnt ready by 3pm (they kept calling housekeeping and promising it would be ready in a few minutes, we waited for hours in the lobby). Breakfast was good but they didnt have enough tables so people had to eat standing up next to us, while the four of us shared a table for 2. It seems like Viking tours/cruises has set up in the lobby so there were often ~50+ people waiting in the lobby for tour buses. Overall, very overcrowded

I had a great stay here! The service was outstanding!

Rooms and beds were comfortable. Upgraded to a suite water view, but was disappointed, as it was limited, particularly for the cost. We faced the train tracks, which was the majority of our view, not a water view that we paid for as a costly suite upgrade.

Excellent location, friendly staff, great experience.
