Radisson Blu Hotel, Lucerne

Bathroom door can’t be closed, the manager on duty came to check but there was no reply. Asked at the reception, the staff said there is no other king bedroom in that room type and there is nothing they can do about it!

Quiet safe neighbourhood, university nearby and 5 mins walk to the train station, very convenient

Excellent location ,cheerful & helpful staff. No hotel can be better than this hotel in Lucern, it’s Second to none .

Fantastic service by David who went above and beyond to meet our request. We were upgraded and had a corner room facing the lake. Room was beautiful and breakfast buffet great. Good location. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for a night after a road trip to Switzerland. It wasn't necessary for us to go back into Milan before we flew out the next morning, so the airport hotel was an obvious choice for us. Location was perfect, connected to the airport. As a family of 4, we had to book 2 rooms. Hotel was quick to accommodate our request for connected rooms. Even though it's at the airport, we couldn't hear any plane noise.

Our stay at the hotel recovered from the longest check-in we have ever experienced. We arrived in the early afternoon and there was only one person at reception. He was bogged down with another guest, but never looked up to acknowledge our presence, invite us to take a seat, or call a colleague to assist. When he finally turned his attention to us he or the system was incredibly slow and did not register the upgrade our agent had negotiated. Further delay while he waited for his manager, now attending to another guest, to free herself and come and help. It still took another fifteen minutes for her to agree that we had been upgraded and allocate us a room on the 5th floor with views of the mountains, which of course was not ready. When we returned later in the afternoon to collect the key card for the room, another check-in person delayed us another fifteen minutes trying to persuade us to take another room, on the third floor: a bit larger, but with views of buildings. The rest of the stay in the hotel was as expected from a Radisson Blu. Modern, well equipped room, excellent breakfasts, helpful front desk staff.

It’s a old hotel and price you pay for this hotel is high

Very kind staff - we reached out to come a day early and they accommodated our family very nicely, shifting our whole reservation up a day. Our room type wasn’t available, but for a reasonable price we got an upgrade for the first night. While we planned to move for the second night, they were nice enough to let us stay. Hotel is clean and big. Not in old town, but an easy walk. Would recommend!
