Hampton Inn & Suites Gallup

Property is under construction for a remodeling.

This place is really worn. Apparently there is come construction going on so hopefully a remodel. No ice available. Pool is closed. Breakfast was the typical fare but wasn’t great. A lot of the parking was fenced off which made it challenging to park a truck and trailer. They did allow dogs which was great but no grassed area. On a positive comment the room was very quiet and was clean.

Hotel is dirty and worn out. The elevator sounds like it is going to fail. There is some construction on the top floor but I do not know why they bother it should be torn down. Staff is nice but this is the worst Hilton property I have ever stayed. There is a Hilton Gardens down the street the looks acceptable.

Do Not stay there! Horrible condition. Dirty, broken, loose tiles in bathroom. Unprofessional staff. Only 1 luggage cart They hand you the managers card when you complain. Website says pool is being renovated. very misleading Corporate Hilton will be contacted

This hotel needs a lot of work. It is hard to be critical because they are actively working on this hotel. We only were there for about eight hours. The staff members very pleasant. The hotel room was very clean. On the downside, the elevator is outright scary. It makes huge noises and sounds like it’s going to crash. This needs to be fixed before anything else in the hotel is fixed. There is also a lot of homeless in the area. I had some bins in the back of my truck. The strap holding them down was cut, and the bins were opened. There was nothing valuable in them, so nothing was taken. It did not look like there was any attempt to break into my vehicle. I hope the renovations that they are doing will make things better. They need to work on security.

I wasn’t happy that you didn’t respond to my email, or answer any of my calls. All the time we were stranded in a blizzard, trying to tell you we wouldn’t be making it by evening as I-40 was CLOSED at Tucumcari.

Conditions inside the hotel, not kept up dirty , poor service, I had to call front desk to request , house keeping as to why our room wasn’t cleaned , nothing was done , they way the inside of building looked , this place was over priced . Not happy , other visitors said the same thing , they weren’t impressed.

Loud room heater made it difficult to sleep. Treadmill not working. Elevator buttons were worn off and malfunctioning. Poor shower with corroded plastic door and stained grout. We are Diamond status but were denied additional water at checkin desk. This honestly was the worst Hampton Inn we've ever encountered.
