Hampton Inn & Suites Gallup

When we checked in we were told there would not be water until 6pm.

Indoor pool, business center, convenience center and lobby restrooms were all closed but no discounted rate. Fire doors were propped open, only 1 elevator and 1 luggage cart for the entire hotel so checking out was time consuming. Concrete at the main entrance was so pitted that anyone with mobility issues would have difficulty. Most of the hallway lights on our floor (3) were not working. Definitely not a pleasant stay

The room was very hampton which is very good. The grounds and most of the hotel is very antiquated and worn out. The grounds are dirty from cigarettes and big chunks out of the cement. This hampton has been neglected for far to long. We love hamptons and are rarely disappointed. This is the 2nd one that has left us questioning our next stay with hampton.

I have not stayed here for a few years, and it has gone straight downhill. The front doors did not work, you had to shove them to open or kick them. The night staff were very rude, and day staff were not even seen. The breakfast area definitely needs attention as the seats are torn and dirty. The elevator and carpeting are disgusting. They had one luggage cart that never showed up until the following morning.

Hotel is being renovated, so not alot of parking. The renovation did not interfere with our trip. The room has peeling paint on tub? Not sure why? Other then those few things, breakfast was good, room was comfortable.

I did not stay. The property is under extensive refurbishment . No parking, no elevator, no anything. Don't know when it will be done. Check first. Staff great.

A surprise stay. The location is in the middle of a remodel, not enough parking, but the room was excellent and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

BEWARE! Property is under remodel. Elevator not working, I had to walk upstairs to the third floor to get to my room. Laundry area closed. Be sure to call the hotel first to make sure repairs and renovations are done. I am very disappointed I had no prior warning this hotel was in such a bad way.
