The food here is gorgeous and service is excellent. We had lunch and everyone’s tastes were catered for. The food is excellent. The decor is lovely and the dining area has a great atmosphere. A special mention to the staff who were brilliant.

Another fantastic experience at The Hoban Kilkenny! The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the food is consistently amazing with great pricing. You can always count on a great experience here. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Kilkenny or surrounding area :)

"A bad experience on what was a nice weekend away."

breakfast was cold on both mornings of our stay, outside front of hotel was not cleaned and bin was overflowing from arrival friday through to departure sunday.

"Exceptional"

We arrived to Kilkenny for a wedding on Thursday. We chose this location because it was slightly outside of the town center, had its own parking and was relatively close to all of our needed amenities. The staff were lovely and while the food wasn’t for my pallet, the rest of my family enjoyed it. We’d do it again!!

"First time in Kilkenny"

This hotel was absolutely amazing. After arriving from Scotland we were greeted by the very welcoming and friendly staff on reception. Our room was lovely and it was spotless. Bed was super comfy too. The buffet breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choices. The evening meals were fantastic. & very reasonably priced too they even made my curry extra hot for me!! ALL the staff in the restaurant & bar were so friendly & helpful!! We absolutely loved our time here & will definitely be back hopefully next year. Well done Hoban Hotel

Went for a meal and cocktails. The waiter was so friendly and accommodating. Couldn’t have asked for better service. Food was delicious. Nicest food I’ve had in a long time. Would highly recommended

"Fantastic food and Dez was amazing!"

Fantastic experience today. Brought our grandmother from Chicago for dinner. We were served by Dez who made the experience great. He tuke the time to chat with us and make sure we had everything we needed. Couldn't praise him enough, really made our day!! We would definitely return.
