It served a purpose in a very basic way.

This used to be a nice hotel to stay. Now it is functional at best. Very impersonal. Ryanair tariffs of everything is an additional hidden cost.

Bed was very comfy. Staff were very friendly. We didnt expect to be able to check in, but we showed up 4hrs earlier than check in time as we had plans for the day and was allowed to check in.

Bit of limescale in the kettle but nothing major.

Staff really friendly and efficient. Room was spacious, and decent shower/bath. Food was good, both breakfast and evening meal. Excellent leisure facilities as well.

Having to pay extra to use the leisure facilities.
