Hotel Koukouras

This hotel is not ocean front and most importantly it was UNSAFE! So UNSAFE that we left few day’s earlier and did not get a refund. Workers were rude, AC not working, and room was very dirty. Would never go back and unsafe for females.

We had an amazing time at the hotel. The staff are wonderful and always ready to help. I was very concerned about bedbugs but they showed me official certificates and offered a doctor for my son that had mosquito bites. The hotel is clean and has the perfect location. The mini golf in front of the hotel that is not a part of the hotel was also cozy and great place. You have everything around you and the beach is also wonderful. Thank to the amazing staff at the bar, cleaning and reception.

This Hotel is very nice, the location is perfect less than 5 min away from the beach, the apartments are comfortable , equipped well and very clean. The receptionist Julia is very friendly, helpful and professional, she was always there to help us with everything that we need. The pool is very clean and tidy with very friendly atmosphere because of the pool bar and the staff Maria and Flori , those guys are the friendliest people that we ever meet, the service that are providing is 10 stars , the breakfast was very delicious , the cocktails and all the drinks and food were served very professionally and with friendly smile. We never gonna forget you guys , you made our holiday amazing, with your high standards of professionalism and friendly hospitality every day . FRIENDS FOREVER. We miss you Maria and Flori , we wish you all the best, see you next year definitely in the best pool bar in Stalos. We are strongly recommend this hotel for holiday 10/10 , pool 10/10 , pool bar 10/10, Hospitality 10/10 ……. Hugs from London Goran

The view from the apartment was great! Right next to the beach.

Very little is ok about this hotel. We had two extremely uncomfortable nights here and a lot of issues with the ignorant and obnoxious hotel management. The location is ok. The pool is alright but over chlorinated and has a drunk barman that turns up at 10am pours himself beers and stares at everyone! We’ve had a really terrible time at this hotel, their customer service it’s exceptionally bad. Upon arrival, we got a hand written note in reception for which room we were in. In the room no welcome, ac instructions, no wi-fi password. The room was dated like they invested any money in them since the 1980’s, beds were hard and noisy, very little kitchen equipment, a bathroom that flooded when you had a shower and a very noisy and smelly toilet. However these issues weren’t even our main problem The apartment only had one ac unit that was old and ineffective in the living area and no ac unit in the bedroom. The bedroom had a low lying window that was open and had a 20 metre drop onto concrete. DO NOT BRING KIDS TO THIS HOTEL. There was no fly net or safety screen. As a protective father with an adventurous 3 year old son this scared me. We had two very hot and uncomfortable nights here before leaving. We raised our concerns with the staff but they were uninterested, on the 3rd day we spoke with the receptionist who said they will give us a refund for our remaining nights. However, this was a lie. Booking . com spoke with the manager who denied all knowledge of my complaint and that i had been assured a refund. Since this time they have continued to refuse to refund one and completely uninterested in making any changes. The room was boiling hot, no ac in the bedroom and a very unsafe window for kids, i would not go near this hotel and wouldn’t be surprised if it closed in the not so distant future because of poor customer service and unsafe environments. Me and my girlfriend checked in this hotel 24.09.2023. After one night I noticed bite marks and so on. After Inspection I found marks of bed bug feces. Hotel has no active reception, so we had to stay the room overnight. In that night I had confirmation on my suspicion when I saw one bed bug in the white sheet. What makes this gross is that the owner said that they tried to poison them out 20 days ago (not sure if true) Even though one time poison isn’t enough. In the third night they said that we had to remove all our belongings from that room and bring them to new room. Not Acceptable, we covered them in plastic and left in reception. It was weird, it’s like the owner didn’t care and wanted to rent out the room anyways. So, in the following morning I saw cleaning lady carrying a new mattress to the room and magically the exterminators “report” said that there were no bed bugs, the room was instantly occupied with new residents. We had been told that pest control would arrive not sooner than the following morning. There’s no time to do full inspection in an hour. We have experienced significant financial losses already and the holiday is only halfway through. It feels like the owner knew about the bed bug problem beforehand and just wanted to make more money rather than get rid of the problem. For the sake of your mental wellness, avoid at all costs. I will share this to every outlet available.

No one was ever at the front desk, they just left my room keys on the counter. I did not have AC for almost 2 days. No customer service at all!

Huoneiston siisteys ja taso tuotti pettymyksen, ei vastaa millään tavalla esittelyn valokuvia. Kuvat otettu rannalla sijaitsevasta uudemmasta rakennuksesta kun taas itse huoneisto oli selvästi vanhemmasta rakennuksesta tien toiselta puolelta. Vain uima allas kuvat näyttäisi olevan sieltä otettu. Kuvat kannattaisi ehdottomasti päivittää sillä hotelli valinta perustuu pitkälti niihin joten pettymys on väistämätön. Huoneistojen sisustus todella ankea. Vaatekaappia ei voinut edes avata sieltä tulevan vahvan homeenhajun takia. Ilmastointi ei automaattisesti kuulu huoneistoon vaan se täytyy erikseen hakea respasta silloin kun siellä sattuu joku olemaan. Meillä ensimmäinen yö +30 asteessa hikoiltiin ilman koska ketään ei ollut sisään tullessaan vastaanottamassa. Avaimet odotti ovessa, ikkunat auki tuuletustarkoituksessa mutta hyttysiä sisällä niin paljon. Sisään mennessä tunkkainen kuumuus ja homeen haju oli päällimmäiset fiilikset. Ilmastointi auttoi näihin. Koko hotellin yleisilme ja kunto 80 luvulta. Julkisivua siistitty.

Very nice view from our balcony. We stayed at the Lia apartments in front of the beach. The hotel area around the apartments were very Nice, with a little garden in the back, and a fountain in front of the hotel. We had some trubble getting in contacts with the hotel per. e-mail before we came. Bur we got help and answers when we called them on the phone. Very friendly and helpfull staff, and a pleasent atmosphere. We are a family with small children and this was a very good hotel choice for us 😊
