Shurland Hotel

It was a nice room the staff a very friendly and helpful. They can be hard to find but if you wait they do come. The shower in my room did not have much pressure but it worked. The bed was nice and the food was great

Had a lovely welcome, the room was cold but fair play they put the heating on straight away and the room was lovely and warm. We did have an issue with the quilt as it was a single one on a double bed but they rectified this straight away. Give 4* as I feel the bathroom needs updating.... Sorry just being honest. However will definitely be returning. Thank you for our stay 😁.

Very basic room. Very dirty bathroom - dusty edges and sticky floors. Lighting was awful - no bed side lamps and bright bulbs. Our room was above the londis which has a beeping door whenever anyone opens it.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, stayed in room 16 nice size,but no heating was on and felt chilly in the room,the bed was classed as a king-size its more a small double. The bathroom was a nice size with a jacuzzi bath but the jacuzzi wasn't working which wasn't a problem for me, there was tea and coffee facilities in the room ,there was no noise from the pub that i heard . Would i syay again probably as it was cheap and cheerful.

Lovely place to stay if you like it quiet, staff so friendly and room was really nice and clean. Enjoyed our stay.

Our suite was fantastic. The manager was very attentive his staff was new and learning. The bar not having draught beers was poor. The spa and jacuzzi was great. Breakfast was 50/50 evening food was filling.

Highly recommend this hotel.. Excellent staff very welcoming. Enjoyed all the food, Absolutely loved the Spa my room was very nice cleaned high standard 👌 I will definitely be visiting again. My bed very very comfortable, Highly recommend

Not recommended at all! We booked a suite for 2 nights. Having stayed there a few years ago we remembered how pleasant it was and how lovely the restaurant and food was. This time, however, it was not good and we left after 1 night. The room was ok, but there was no shower in the en-suite. It was a jacuzzi bath. We are in our 70’s, and find it difficult to step over a bath to get in. My husband went and asked for another room. He was shown one with a shower, but it was a standard room and not what we had paid for. So we elected to stay in the suite. Their advert said about the restaurant , so having travelled 230 miles we decided to eat that evening. Only to be told that they had closed it for refurb, so no evening meal. Eastchurch is quite small so nowhere to eat out. We had a sandwich from the supermarket opposite. Breakfast was another story. Hard crumpets and a basic continental spread. We noticed that they are advertising the hotel based on what it used to be. In fact the information in the room was what the previous owners had used, i.e. stating the restaurant times etc. We could not wait to get out! We actually went to the Queen Philippa in Queenborough, where everything was so much better.
