Portimão Center Hotel

Hotel very good ,spotlessly clean ,good choice of food at breakfast ,wi fi in rooms and outdoor pool was lovely ,it's very near the hotel in its own grounds ,The hotel is very safe and everyone who comes into the hotel has to pass the reception which is manned 24 /7, the hotel has a curtesy bus to town and the beach ,the beach is lovely but you have to get down loads of steps but well worth the effort ,l willl certainly be coming back

Toilet in room was placed under sink. Only an Olympic gymnast could have used it. Totally ridiculous.

Good value for money, nice pool, clean hotel with pleasant staff. Breakfast lovely.

Lovely hotel an open cafe next door were you can sip Coffee and eat untill 11pm. Really nice man who runs it.

Nice hotel, nice breakfast and hotel amenities the only downside would be that is not close to the beach although I didn't want to be straight on the beach cause this way was quieter and there is also a very nice restaurant just before the hotel (must try that one)

The hotel and staff were excellent at the Mirichoro Sol they could not have been more helpful and I would recommend this hotel to anyone

We wanted 3 relaxing days which we got, nice walk into town at night too.

friendly staff , great pool ( we had it to ourselves a lot of the time )good breakfast , air con works fine , bar with cheap beer , 15 min walk to town , shuttle to beach 4 times a day , hotel in the suburbs not close to beach , we enjoyed seeing normalllife in portogal , great local restaurant near to hotel - fresh fish . had a really good time . thank you

First impression wasn't very good but have to say this place isn't that bad it's clean an comfortable and the staff are great

Hotel suited us, if you don't like walking you'd need a car. 15 mins walk to Continente shopping centre, 25 min walk to Aqua Portimao, 20 min walk to Portimao harbour. 45 min walk to Praia da Rocha beach. Hotel provides a minibus 3 times a day, would be useful if this ran in the evening too. Great continental breakfast, good choice of fruit, bread, pastries etc. Outdoor pool usually quiet, a real sun trap. No pool bar but a local cafe round the corner is handy. Rooms spotless and cleaned daily; air con very welcome, Wi-Fi spasmodic. Would I stay again - if you could pick this hotel up and move it, yes, but we didn't like Praia da Rocha so probably not. Parts of Portimao were beautiful, but it was mostly dirty, scruffy and rundown with loads of graffiti and lots of derelict buildings. Needs a clean up and lots of Euro investment.
