"Quiet Area"

The hotel is situated in a residential area which is very quiet.The rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast (continental style) is adequate with a lovely range of breads,cakes,hot drinks and fresh fruit.Swimming pool with bar and soft drinks available . Handy for town and not far from beach.

Great breakfast included, friendly staff, big , clean rooms, nice smell in the room, nice pool 100 m away from the hotel, indoor pool and a mini gym, not noisy. Recommended! The towels could be changed more often, same the bedding!

"Not so good!"

hotel in middle of nowhere!! we had a car so not a problem! room ok nice balcony, second night had overflow problem!! the smell was awful! went to complain!!! changed room fine!! NO not fine! it was like a dungeon!! no balcony and couldn't open window! asked to change again Was told hotel full! Asked if we checked out early could we have refund! NO!!! Not happy I rang hotels.com they were very helpful and rang hotel for me to see if they could get refund for me! NO! They were told we had broken the toilet!! which we hadn't ! one member of staff was nice the other were on mobile phones most of time!!

"Basic hotel bus ride away from beach and amenities"

Air con wasn't very good. Very basic hotel. No fridge in room which was annoying. Buffet breakfast was nice. Pool is a lot smaller than it seems in the photos and it's a 3 minute walk away from hotel down the road a little way in seperate out house. Free shuttle bus into beach and shopping area, although only goes three times a day. Not much to do nearby unless you get a taxi at €6 into Praia da rocha.

They have a shuttle to the beach which is only about 9 minutes drive. Everything is local if your driving the jumbo supermarket and shopping centre is about 7 minutes drive if u want some home luxuries there is even a Primark at the shipping centre... the hotel room was clean the bar was decent the indoor pool was cold bŕrrr. There is no evening meal options at the hotel but thete are placed to about a minute walk away. Overall it was a good stay. Only bad thing I can say about the room was the bathroom the the hand basin was right in front of the toilet so it felt very cramped.

"Hidden gem."

Hotel was in quite a remote spot but there was a lovely restaurant very close by and a few shops and takeaways. A free shuttle bus transported guests to the beach and town at various times of the day. However, the town itself was only a 15 minute walk and had many places to eat and a lovely harbour front. The hotel had indoor and outdoor pools, free air con and beautiful lounge area in the foyer.
