Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa

Experience was great, met for a reward trip from work for top performers. Skeet shooting, Spa, and the pickleball courts were a highlight. Rooms, food and decor at the resort was top notch. Would definitely recommend and return again in the future.

Clean friendly staff Very accommodating I needed a wheelchair for my elderly mother unexpectedly. Very helpful with this. She walks but it was far for her. Security let me keep the W/C until we left. Room was far end of the hall.

Needs more food options

Our stay at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort started and ended with amazing customer service, and was filled with great food, weather, activities, and more. From our arrival, Sylvia at the front desk made sure all three of our rooms were as close together as possible. She even swapped a room so our suite could be adjoining with one of our two queen rooms. This helped make the area feel so much more spread out. We had a party of 10, and the suite was the perfect size for us all to gather on the couch and at the table to enjoy a take out meal from the restaurant. As a Globalist, I gifted two GOH awards to the other guest rooms in our party. Every morning, our party ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the buffet. Each morning we didn’t wait more than a few minutes for our large group to be seated. On the first morning, our server Nilah, was amazing and helpful. She was very personable and attentive to our large party. We were lucky enough to get seated in her section the following day. She had even remembered everyone’s drink order from the previous day. By day three, she had set aside enough room in her section for our large group before we had even arrived. After being seated, she brought out all of our beverages to the table without even being prompted. And on our final day, she again had everything all ready and waiting for us when we got to the restaurant at 9am. That was a great touch and really made the morning smooth. The pool complex was enormous, and had more lounge chairs than I’d ever seen at any of the Hyatt resorts I’ve stayed at. Most days we didn’t even show up until after 10am and had our pick of any location we wanted. We also loved that we weren’t limited to only two towels per person. The lazy river was massive and relaxing. The large pool was warm and not too crowded. The food a drink service at the pool was also good. The menu was perfect for a few of the pickier little ones our group. We had a ton of fun with the resorts activities throughout our stay. We partook in trivia, basketball, pickleball, cycling, and more. My only suggestion would be to be prepared to travel 15-20 minutes if you want to leave the property for any food. The resort itself is almost 3 miles of the highway and a good 8 minute drive on the windy road. We ate each morning at the restaurant and each lunch at the pool. We did venture out two of the four nights for dinner to nearby Bastrop. Make sure you take the back service road if you plan on needing to head that direction. Making a left on to the highway was almost impossible at rush hour and very dangerous as that stretch of road is 70mph.

The real Texas, fantatic property plenty to do on the resort and a great location for day trips to Bastrop, New Braunfels. Gruene and Lockhart the Capital of Texas BBQ.

We recently visited Hyatt Regency Lost Pines for a long weekend. We had an absolute blast exploring the grounds and took advantage of all of the on site free activities as well as paid extra for horseback riding. We stayed in a first floor Lone Star Suite which was perfect for our family and had a great amount of space and storage. We loved the separate tub and shower in the bathroom. The room and the resort were clean, and I regularly saw staff vacuuming common areas. We ate breakfast daily at Heartwood House. The buffet is extensive. They offer coffee and espresso beverages which were yummy. The waffles and salted butter with real maple syrup were a huge hit with my kids (and me). Maude's terrace has an awesome vibe and the flatbread was great. Maverick's had a great menu. We really enjoyed the tortilla soup and the brownie a la mode. This is a great resort for families with younger kids (less than 12 is probably ideal), and for multi generational family gatherings.

I thought the food in those places was pretty good

Just way overpriced for what you're getting. This is maybe a 2:50 to $300 per night property, the 5:50 we had to pay was way too much

We enjoy virtually all of the hotel activities and amenities: pool, playground, games inside and out, bikes, animals, river walk, arts and crafts for the kids, breakfast buffet, outdoor dining, cleanliness of the grounds----all make for the perfect place to come with family.

Two things about our room (2601) need attention: 1. The AC blower was not putting out the usual airflow. A maintenance person responded and changed the air filter, but even he noticed that the airflow was not up to its usual performance. 2. The TV situation: Trying to view Netflix while using an iPhone (new iPhone 17) as a "remote" did not function, despite following all prompts.
