Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa

Our trip ended up being such a great family getaway for us. We traveled as 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 6 and 7), and the resort had more than enough to keep everyone busy. We appreciated the upgrade and YETI upon check in. Our room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived, but we were given access to the pool right away so we could start enjoying the property. The pool complex ended up being the highlight for our kids. There’s a large family pool that’s only about 3 feet deep, a zero-entry area, waterslide, lazy river, and a splash pad nearby. There’s also a playground and yard games right by the pool if kids want a break from swimming. First afternoon recap: • 6-year-old son painting rocks with dad 🎨 • 7-year-old daughter doing laps on the lazy river with me • then straight to the waterslide again and again Some of the things our kids loved most: • Daily crafts at 2 PM • Visiting the longhorns and farm animals one morning • Unlimited s’mores every evening 🔥🍫 • A couple bike rides around the property - Family movie night with popcorn The resort handled rainy days really well — they set up a bounce house and board games indoors in a conference room one day, which kept the kids entertained until the weather cleared. We definitely barely scratched the surface of everything the resort offers, but it was an awesome trip and we’d absolutely come back. ❤️

I booked a quick family getaway for 19 family members (6 rooms total) at this beautiful resort. The oldest family member is almost 88 years old, and the youngest family member is 2 months old. There was something to do for everyone. The resort is absolutely beautiful. The entrance is breathtaking, the surrounding nature is gorgeous. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and housekeeping services were spot on! Our family enjoyed the beautiful pool, lazy, river, games, Pickleball, fire pit (with s’mores), and so much more. We had the delicious breakfast buffet in the mornings and there was such a huge variety of food to accommodate every palate. Special acknowledgment of the amazing staff who went above & beyond to make our trip memorable: 1. Tiffany (server - Heartwood House) took spectacular care of us, especially the kids. It was a lot of work for her, but we made sure we tipped her generously! 2. Maria (omelette chef at Heartwood House) her smile and customer service was outstanding! 3. Natalia (in house reservation) I didn’t get to meet her, but she was amazing at getting all 6 rooms situated to make sure all parties were happy. 4. Alex & Maria (front desk) They were so patient w/ us. It’s a lot to juggle a big party like ours. 5. Elliot (front desk manager). I never got to meet him, but he was very generous in letting me take advantage of my Globalist benefits! Thank you all and I cannot wait to come back!

This was our 4th visit, and the Hyatt Lost Pines is the very best resort in Texas for a weekend getaway with the family. Laidback, delicious food, live music, outdoor movie, tennis, bike rides, great pool with lazy river, and clean rooms. Kids are safe to run free here, and there is fun for everyone. They are definitely a bit understaffed during holidays/spring break, but the staff is phenomenal nonetheless.

We love this resort and always enjoy our stay here! It is not only family friendly and dog friendly but there activities for every age and every stage in life. The size of the resort is also nice, it is very personable and not overwhelming at all (even when they are at capacity). I highly recommend this resort.

Lots of fun! We visited over a weekend as a family of four and had a great time. Despite it being spring break and a weekend and very busy at the resort, it never felt too crowded or overwhelming. Pool was busy, but there was usually always a seat to be found, and staff were pretty diligent about clearing away towels off chairs. We never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table at a restaurant. Our kids loved riding bikes and joining impromptu sports games with other children on the lawns, plus the evening s'mores. The resort is well programmed and our kids were kept plenty busy! Rooms were comfortable, modern and efficient.

Beautiful resort, perfect for a family vacation but also plenty of activities for all ages. This will remain a favorite due to the quality of the resort, cleanliness, quality of food and staff - they are very friendly!

We enjoyed a wonderful spring break weekend with kids and grandkids. The service and friendliness of the staff was exceptional. There were a multitude of activities geared to kids. The grounds are beautiful - perfect for walks. We will be back!

Wonderful family friendly resort! We love visiting here! Our kids enjoyed rising the bikes and the snores at night. The lazy river is super fun and the property is absolutely beautiful.

We had a beautiful spring break stay at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines. The property itself is stunning—so much space to relax, great amenities, and a true getaway feel without leaving Texas. The grounds, pool areas, and overall atmosphere really make it special for both families and those looking to unwind. During our stay, we did experience some noise from a neighboring room that made it a bit difficult to fully relax at times. However, I want to recognize the team for their professionalism and responsiveness. They listened, acknowledged the concern, and made a meaningful effort to address the situation, which we truly appreciated. Service recovery matters, and they handled it with care. That level of attentiveness goes a long way. Overall, we enjoyed our time and would absolutely consider returning—especially to take full advantage of everything the resort has to offer in a quieter setting.
